Godspeed Fox! Make this happen!
I actually like his show. I get the shtick...but like it anyway.
This... can't stand that clown.
You're not alone, obviously. Weird to me is the need to insist the guy isn't talented, etc. Yes, he's talented. Yes, he's a Tennessee grad, and yes he was incredibly smart to cater to the most passionate fanbase in college football. Especially since he was in Birming-freaking-ham Alabama.
Now he's in Charlotte and probably looking at what Clay Travis is doing, making millions, and thinking maybe JUST MAYBE there's another way.
So, I doubt if the Big Ten is the *real* competitior with ESPN.
I thought the Big 10 network was affiliated with ESPN. guess not.
I will admit that I watch, but not for the stupid "regulars" and Paul's shtick. I generally tape the show and play back some of the interviews and the few interesting sports discussions with callers, which boils down to less than 30 minutes a day. Paul will not leave the SEC Network, his regular callers and the shows "Jerry Spriner" format will not sell
Won’t miss the Alabama fan at all! Nope. And can’t understand what the Big 10 sees in him!
I think he is knowledgeable, but boring as hell. Doesn't have much of a personality. He should grab whatever he can while he can.
That's finebaum with me
This will never happen. Even if he goes to Fox, there is no way he will affiliate with the Big 10 in any way. He’s too tied to the south. His brand just won’t work with the midwestern crowd. If he were younger, maybe, but he’s invested his entire career in the SEC.
I'll be happy if he just leaves the SEC Network...
I don't think anyone in the Big Ten wants Paul Finebaum. He should just stay with Nick Saban where he belongs.
What makes you think he never played football?
Over the years I have bought plenty of appliances and tools from Sears. But they are no longer what they used to be. They have allowed their stores to become dirty and unorganized. Their brand is old and stale.
They sold off Craftsman, which was synonymous with Sears, because they are in such bad financial shape. Prior to that the quality of their power tools became garbage.
There is absolutely nothing inviting about their stores and frankly I don't know a single person that even considers Sears to be anywhere near the top of their list to purchase anything, even online.
Sears is the next Radio Shack. Sadly, it's true.
Rumor is ESPN is in negotiations with Big Vol Daddy as a replacement.
He actually has gotten better. Back in the 80's and 90's his column was so pro-Alabama and anti-most everyone else, especially Florida, that it was pathetic. But that's what the old SEC liked.
Hell bring back the old "conference call" …….
I don't dislike Paul but he was definitely anti Gator back in the Myer era.
I must say I think he (the show) allows to much "bickering" and "regular"
red-neck nonsense for my tastes.
He has a face made for radio that's for sure!
Best thing that could happen for every team in the SEC but Bama.
