Actually NO. His single bad one is for handling JF wrong. It's a bad fit from the begining. He didn't ditch Eason for someone else (Eason worked out or not is irrelevent). He keeps recruting real QBs. Fromm was a good college QB, not starting JF over him was not wrong, at least when JF was a 1st year true frosh. On the other hand, both FF and EJ are below-average QBs and started over sensational QBs
Only one was a direct 6pts. Had we had a semi functional defense they could have held them to a FG at least once. This loss squarely on the defense when you can't stop a simple play that you know is coming.
Defense didn’t come Thru late, but they did their part early and was put under duress much of the game.
Ok, so who are all the former Gators turning on Mullen. I only saw one. Maybe I missed some and not saying he doesn't deserve some criticism, but seems like a misleading title to me..
They struggled for sure, but we should’ve built a big lead in the first half. All those turnovers were the reason we lost.
I'll give you the one pick 6 but a normal gator D is holding them to some field goals or no points. Give up that much rushing yards on the same play over and over and when the offense puts up 42 pts, it's on the defense.
Because the defense couldn't stop them. You don't hang 42 and lose unless the D doesn't do their job. This had to be the worst defensive performance I can remember in a long time.
If we only had AR’s two turnovers, then we win the game by 7-14 points. The wheel spinning offense in the 1st half when we had good field position may have also not happened with AR at qb. But go ahead and blame the guy who led the offense on 4 straight TD drives to bring us back into the game after the previous qb threw a pick 6. Don’t mention the defense that allowed the other team to make 2 consecutive TD drives running the same damn play after AR tied the ball game at 35-35.
I ain’t blaming him. I’m just saying, he needs to lead given his opportunity. Didn’t he throw an INT to pretty much lose the game?
Good take on it. I do not think the past 12-13 years show that UF football program is a competent organization.
If you’ll review the press conference, I think you’ll see AR15 wasn’t implying what folks are saying here. Sorry to disappoint so many people.
