Pete Alonso, Mets reach agreement on deal for 2022 season - Sports Illustrated Signed a $7.4 million one year contract and arbitration eligible the next two years. Will likely continue to climb next two years until he can sign a monster long term contract in 2025. Could be 10 years at $30 million per year in 2025. $300 million contract is a possibility if he keeps putting up the stats like this year.
He is hitting over .280 in today’s game plus has some of the best power in the game. He has even turned into a decent 1B.
