Depressing what it's come to with us not being very desirable any more!
Our D-line needs numbers in a bad way...
Please be Texas or West Virginia...
Different people have different desires. The fact that Van Jonhson, Trevon Grimes, Lukas Krull, Delance, Dunlap & Shuler all transferred to become Gators in the past year, all but 2 since Mullen arrived, indicates that the Gators are anything but undesirable.
Desirable for players in less than desirable circumstances where they were and we had room. Not sure what it really means but hopefully in the near future we will not be in need.
I doubt seriously that the Gators are in Need at WR. I merely think that Mac's WR coaches were weak, as were all his Offensive Coaches. Do you remember when Duane Dixon took over as the Gator WR coach in 1990 in SOS Fun & Gun. Recall that Van Jefferson wanted to play for Billie Gonzales.
Dwayne Dixon, great guy, but the real WR coach was also our QB coach.....SOS.
West Virginia would appear odd choice, as starting QB will depart after this year, but OC recruited him to Cal, so they have a connection. Probably Bama or UGA given closeness to home
Hook 'em Horns.
What is his hometown?
Whoever bids higher between UGA and Bama will get him
I really don't think I was indicative of WR talent. Its obvious to anyone with a feel for the pulse of the program IMO that WR coaching was right up with with strength training that MacNuss didnt give a crap about. Thus, I think the WR's that came in here with better technique from the HSs they came from had a leg up over the more naturally talented WRs who relied on sheer talent and improv in high school to beat other teams DBs. That don't fly in the SEC.
HE commits to UGA.
Of course he does. Lol
This is a kid begging for attention. He’s already had a huge announcement when he decided on Cal. Why not just say you’re going to the mutts without making another big show? If Kirby doesn’t massage his huge ego, he may transfer again. I hate this kind of stuff. Stop being such an attention seeker.
I am not worried one bit. I remember how Ga used to beat Fl all the time in the recruiting services, but as SOS used to say you have to do it on the field. Fl had their # and the result was coaches loosing their jobs up there. Just sayin'
Well, that was Steve Spurrier and the former uga coaches were not very good. georgia has always recruited well but after this cycle they will have had three back to back excellent classes and an HC that can do something with it. I think we all just want to see the Gators start rolling. The good news is we will be better this year, no doubt about it.
