High of 9 today at my house. Warms up to 13 tomorrow. Woot! Double digits!
Was -19 at my place two days ago. Thankfully I was in ATL. Heading home to a cozy zeroish temp with no break in sight.
75 degrees today in Phoenix. Makes up for the 115 we'll suffer in June.
I’d say I hate you, but after 30 yrs in FL, I’ve had my moments in the sun.
It it's a dry cold
Currently, 15 here (Springfield, VA, suburb of DC)
45° and rainy in Seattle. I would say like always, but it snowed Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning giving us a rare White Christmas. Just enough snow to make it pretty for a minute
a balmy 55 on my back porch right now
43 at 6 here in Irvine
It's 20 right now in Grand Junction, Colorado (7:50 am local time). Expected high today is 50. It reached 46 yesterday.
To date, the forecast for next Tuesday the 2nd is looking good for the drive south. Roads through the Rockies are clear.
Bright and sunny and 24 at 10:30 am. May actually hit 32 today.
Was pretty close to landing a job in Bellingham. Minnesota called when I was at the interview. Preferred the Bellingham location at the time. I'm not sure which winter would be tougher. The lack of sunshine during winter would be rough, but so can be sub-zero.
High of 5 today, with the low at -14. Will not eclipse zero this weekend . Guess I'll hunker down, do some reading, play some music, watch some sports, and sip some whisky.
Nice. Was -13 on my drive in this morning.
For you Floridians, these are the temps that even your vehicle hates. Tranny fluid thick as peanut butter, greased joints frozen solid - pops and cracks for the first 10 miles as you keep peering under the partially thawed frost on your windshield wishing your coffee mug would keep your Java hot a little longer. Coolant up to 130* - just 5 more miles and the cab should get warm enough to take off your hat and gloves.
Good times. Good times.
Don't get me started on keeping 7 and 9 year olds happy over vacation week when they can't go outside for more than 10 minutes at a time.
Now that's a party!
I watched the Military Bowl (25 deg) from the comfort of my living room. I would have gone to it if I still lived in Maryland, but really glad I don't.
Beautiful blue skies this morning and -10. The coldest days are always clear blue .
Was thinking about going. Also glad I didn't.
We hit -21 this morning. High of -5 today.
Might venture out to the mailbox or step outside to feed the deer. Not gonna travel anywhere in this weather, so it will be a nice, safe, and quiet New Year. Happy New Year all!
