As for 3-pointers, Oral Roberts took more of them than FLorida but only made one more:
    UF (4/10)
    ORU (5/16).

Keep an eye on how often each team takes the 3-ptrs. Being the bigger team, Florida is killing this team in the paint, so keep that up!

The main reason that ORU is even in the game beside the gators 10 tos is that Florida fouled too much and sent them to the free throw line more:
    ORU FT: 8/11
    UF FT: 2/3

To be fair, 2 of our TOs were BS ref induced. The carry on Applebee and the one on Payne.

3 of the turnovers were tough as Locke was leading a break and he is not the guy you want handling the ball like that but it just sort of opened up for him. Another from Osifo that is a turnover machine and then a bogus carry call on Appleby that came from officials discussing this in the pregame meeting and so the ref jumped on it because of his reputation

Florida needs to get Lewis going a bit who has 0 points and two fouls.

Against Virginia Tech, he made 2 3 pointers.

I think that Lewis should take a few in the 2nd half along with the others who have already made them (i.e, Locke, Appleby & Mann).

I have a feeling that ORU will look for those long range shots in the 2nd half. They average taking 35+ 3 pointers per game.

One of the good things is we have scoring across almost all of our players. Theirs came mainly from Abmas and Obanor with Abmas by far accounting for the majority. I don't think one guy can beat us.

I think we slow down our offense and press in the second half.

I don't know how a F1 isn't called on that elbow to Appleby. Kid was bent over in pain holding his head. The film showed an INTENTIONAL elbow strike!

One of the most abhorrent cases of bad officiating I have ever seen.....

Lewis was aggressive from the first time he stepped on the court against VT. Tonight he is back to being a non factor.

Even on offense he was taking shots and moving against VT. He just hasn't been a factor so far tonight.

Agree, White may really need to try to work the officials some.

Castleton should post up deep to the basket and we can get some lobs to him as they are not big enough in the interior

I think the offensive foul called on him might have made him more tentative on offense.

Scottie picked up 2 PFs which hurt his playing time. It was one thing we talked about earlier.

I'd like to see Lewis get under the basket more and go get the ball......
