    THE STORYLINE

    • Week 10 marks the sixth meeting between Florida and Texas A&M including the third matchup in College Station.

    • With a victory, the Gators would tie up the series at 3-3 and move to 2-1 vs. Texas A&M on the road.

    • The first-ever meeting took place in Gainesville in 1962, with the Gators prevailing by a score of 42-6.

    • Florida and Texas A&M met again in El Paso in 1976 (TAMU 37, UF 14), but did not play again until 2012 thereafter.

    • After a 2012 road win (UF 20, TAMU 17), Florida dropped the next two games (2017 at home, 2020 on road) by a
    combined five points.

    • All three meetings since 2012 were decided by three or fewer points: 2017 - TAMU 19, UF 17 | 2020 - TAMU 41, UF 38.

    • Across Florida’s last five games, QB Anthony Richardson has posted a 147.8 passing effiency rating while
    passing for 1,215 yards (243.0 YPG), seven touchdowns and three interceptions.
    » In that span, Richardson has rushed 43 times for 276 yards (6.5 YPC) and three touchdowns, equating to
    55.2 yards per game on the ground.

    • The Gators’ eight sacks allowed are tied for the 15th-fewest in the FBS and rank t-third in the SEC.

    • Since the start of last season, Florida has out-sacked its opponents by a plus-28 margin, and the Gators’ 22
    sacks allowed are tied for the seventh-fewest in the FBS (including the top mark in the SEC).

    • Four UF receivers have led or shared the team’s weekly lead in receiving yards: WR Justin Shorter (five), WR
    Xzavier Henderson (two), WR Ricky Pearsall (one) and WR Trent Whittemore (one).

    • QB Anthony Richardson connected with Henderson for a 78-yard touchdown pass vs. UGA in Week 9 – setting
    a new career passing long for Richardson and a new career receiving long for Henderson.

    • Pearsall’s 76-yard TD run vs. Eastern Washington is the longest rush by an FBS WR this season and ranks t-10th
    in the FBS across the last five seasons.

    • Pearsall’s rush is also tied for the third-longest run by a UF wide receiver in the last 25 years, and was the

    • QB Anthony Richardson earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors in Week 1 after setting a career-high
    with three rushing TDs while passing for 168 yards, becoming the first UF QB to rush for three-plus TDs and
    pass for 150-plus yards in the same game since Tim Tebow vs. Georgia on Nov. 1, 2008.
    » Richardson became the first UF QB to rush for three-plus TDs in a contest since Emory Jones accomplished

    • After missing last season due to an injury and the beginning of the 2022 campaign, CB Jaydon Hill has started the
    last four games for the Gators.
    » His season debut vs. Eastern Washington marked 641 days since his last appearance, which was in the Cotton
    Bowl vs Oklahoma in 2020.

    • In his second start, he recorded two interceptions, including a 49-yard interception return touchdown in the first
    quarter vs. Missouri.
    » The first pick marked his first-career interception and first-career touchdown.
    » His first interception also represented Florida’s longest pick-six since Ventrell Miller’s 82-yard interception return
    touchdown vs. Idaho on Nov. 17, 2018
    » Hill became the first Florida player with two interceptions and a pick-six in the same game since CJ Gard-

    • In all eight games this season, a Gator veteran has finished as the team-leader in tackles - DB Trey Dean III
    (three), DB Rashad Torrence II (three) and LB Ventrell Miller (two).
    » Dean III sits at 230 career tackles, Miller at 220 and Torrence II at 178.

    • Dean III has broken up 19 passes and is six away from tying Janoris Jenkins (2008-10), who is tied for 10th all-time
    at UF with 25.

    • JR LB Tre’Vez Johnson’s interception in the fourth quarter set up the game-winning touchdown for the Gators in
    a 31-28 victory over USF.

    • DL Gervon Dexter Sr. was second on the team with seven tackles vs. the Wildcats as he added a pass breakup
    and his second-career interception.
    » He is the first UF player to be credited with a sack and an interception in the same game since Mohamoud Diabate vs. Kentucky on Nov. 28, 2020.

    • DL Princely Umanmielen had 3.0 TFL vs. Missouri as the Gators combined for 13 total, the most since 2019 in the
