Pharmacy tech at Walgreens was pushing the flu vax several months ago. I said, "I don't believe in them." The pharmacist said jokingly, "Oh, they're real!"

 

If you want to take a drug that causes more harm than benefit. Go for it. Inflame your body for no reason. There is a reason most are choosing not to inject themselves and cause unnecessary inflammation.

Bird flu survives frozen so if you're worried about it wash your poultry, wash your hands, cook your chicken to 165F, cook your eggs so the yolks aren't runny. Wash your eggs before cooking (the shells). Bird flu likes to spread at 2 temp ranges, 41F-50F and 59F-68F.

In reality what kills bird flu is time and temperature. Scientific chef Heston Blumenthal is known for low temp cooking cooking. He slow roasts his chicken for 3-4 hours and feels that when it reaches 140F for 12 minutes viruses and bacteria are dead. His Fat Duck restaurant is ranked #1 in Europe. Fat Duck also had a huge number of customers who fell ill in 2009. People blamed the bird flu but Heston said it was norovirus not contracted from his food (last I heard). The flu virus is also killed in 3 hours at 90F and in 30 minutes at 100F. Do your own research. Use a good digital food thermometer to measure food temps. Blumenthal takes 15 minutes to cook his scrambled eggs. I would imagine if you cook them that slow you could get away with not cooking them till they're dry but that's your call.

 

How will we ever know with this administration cutting cancer research?

The COVID vaccine failed...if you ignore the results of every study, by every country, that showed reductions in hospitalizations and deaths! In what world is this a failure?

 

All they're doing with that money was making more flu virus with which to infect our chickens with... just my conspiracy theory.

 

I'm sure you know this but that research was funded with NIH money. We all know how DOGE feels about the NIH and the funding of future research

Mother nature gave us a "pop quiz" with a fairly low lethality pandemic. Around 1-3% of folks were likely to die with out significant intervention.

The bird flue could be the "final exam" as it is estimated to be closer to a 50% mortality rate. And like all final exams, we know it is coming and have a chance to prepare. But the US is now controlled by anti-science morons who want to show their voters how tough they are by gutting the very science that could save us.

That's amazing that UF is working on that, hope they don't suffer budget cuts. Did you know that right now, around the world in research facilities they are working on vaccines for diseases we don't even know about yet? MRNA has been around for decades. They tweaked it to fit the strain of covid we had. If it weren't for Biden "forcing it on people" we would have never gotten out of the C19 pandemic. It's the ONE thing I credit trumph with, warp speed. It was a huge success.

 

Biden forcing an unnecessary drug designed for a strain not in circulation once rolled out is one of the most damaging medical policies in history. It is why vaccines with safe track records are being taken at lower rates.

Not only did we harm medicine. We harmed young healthy people. It was a complete screw up.
