Here's Trump saying the governor of Illinois and the mayor of Chicago should be jailed.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday called for the jailing of Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, both Democrats, accusing them of “failing to protect” Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who have been sent to the city.

His comments mark another escalation — at least in rhetoric — against Democratic leaders in Illinois who have been pushing back against his immigration crackdown there. There is no evidence that either Johnson or Pritzker has done anything to warrant jail time, and the White House did not specify which laws the president believes they have broken.

J6'rs were protesting a fishy election, in order to stand up for actual democracy. (Most of them anyway).

• Trump loses the election
• Trump then tries the legal route:
  • He challenges the results in court, losing 50+ cases across multiple states
  • Audits are conducted in multiple states, including by external auditors. None of them uncovers material fraud or anomalies
• Trump then goes the illegal route
  • Pressures the governor and SOS of Georgia to "find" the 12k votes he needs to win the state
  • Hatches a scheme to send alternative states of false electors to vote against the results in their state and have Mike Pence as VP recognize the false electors.

Right, they were just protesting. They were protesting that Trump lost the election but didn't get to still be president. Just a nice peaceful protest.

 

Mayhaps enough votes cast to make the allegedly villainous 45, miraculously, against all odds, probability, or conventional wisdom, became 47, also looked at the events, and formed an opinion., just as you did, and they (we) view your take as completely erroneous.
