So, a team may have brain farts on their way to the end of the season and the tournament? Is that what this means?

Man, what am I going to do with the pitchforks I bought?

I caught the end of the game and couldn't believe that was Walter McCarty. He's looking old. Good for him. I really liked him as a player. Can't believe Evansville was picked 8th in their conference. Good conference but damn! 8th!

So, we went from 6 to 15. Will The kitties go from 1 to 10? Of course not. Not that it matters but apples don’t equal apples.

That was an impressive win . . . not just beating UK, but it was a 'legit' win. By that I mean, it wasnt just a case of UK stinking up the joint. Evansville played really well.

McCarty seems like a good guy. I loved his demeanor. And he gave a great post game interview.
Did you like him as a Cat?
Im gonna root for these guys.

Go Aces!! I’m from Evansville and am an UE alumnus. I’ve been a Gator fan in all sports since I was about 5 years old and the same for UE. I still remember the one time the Gators and Aces played each other in a non conference tournament when the Gators had Andrew Declerc, Dan Cross, etc. I think it went right down to the wire too with the Gators winning (think it was overtime).

That Evansville team seems like they are going to be a really good team.

    Join the misery, UK!
You really helped us out - our early season (now annual) loss to FSU had us down in the doldrums. Your loss helps provide some perspective- on the early season....bunch of new faces trying desperately to be a cohesive team.

The 1996 Cats were the best team I will ever see. Walter was Prop 48 but worked hard to become eligible. Easy to cheer for him. I’m so glad we lost...never get too high or too low. This UK team has a lot of flaws that I’m not sure can be fixed with time.

I actually grew up in Evansville. There is a ton of buzz around the program right now. If Walter can keep some of the kids in state he can absolutely grow the program. There are a few big time prospects in town right now actually. Excited for them.

What a win for those guys. Insanely cool. Unrelated, but...I feel better about losing to Fla State now...o_O

Once our team starts to play together and gel we should be pretty good. Long season.

    Go Gators.:D

The school is in a great location for a lot of under the radar talent. I think this is why the MVC consistently produces great basketball teams.

Auburn escaped an upset as well to South Alabama, won at the buzzer.

Khristian Lander, a UF target like all of the Power 5 schools, is an Evansville kid.
