Just watched his highlight video and he reminds me of a cross between Percy Harvin and Frank Gore. The Harvin resemblance is his ability to accelerate past guys who seem to have a can't-miss angle on him, and the Gore resemblance is his ability to power through arm tackles despite being relatively small and shifty. He is a natural running back, so he is a little more similar to Gore than Harvin, but I see a bit of both when watching him.

But like Harvin, I wouldn't mind seeing him try to avoid more contact, LOL.

The immediate resemblance to Harvin is the first two or three steps. He really looks like he's being shot out of a gun when he takes the handoff. Then like you said, he just runs past and away from defenders who look like they should be able to get their hands on him. I remember watching a few consecutive plays where nobody touched him.

His legs don't even need pads! Looks like he has them already.

Just watched Bowman's sophomore highlight clip for the first time. Love the junior clips but it just takes too long to watch him score 32 rushing TDs. Watch just the first 1:20 of this clip and see Demarkus rush for 475 yards on just seven carries. I won't quite say he goes untouched but you have to watch closely to see anyone really touch him and you won't see anyone hit him or get two arms around him. He's gone faster than guacamole at Burrito Bros on a Saturday afternoon in the eighties.

Don't know if it means anything but Bowman changed from #22 his sophomore year to #3 his junior year. Probably didn't want that extra digit to slow him down. And here he is wearing #3 in a Gator uniform. Maybe he wants a future teammate to wear #22.

Or maybe he's a fan of Chris Rainey. Wasn't he 3?

Very clever '75 since he is a Lakeland connection. Well done.

True though let’s hope he doesn’t view Rainey as a role model!

I think you would see him mostly in the slot, wildcat, jet sweep kinda functionality. As he progresses and shows good hands, maybe he sees some action outside but Mullen is clearly going after bigger longer receivers outside.

Imagine how he'll look after Savage.... He won't have to duck and dodge defenders, they'll jump out his way as fast as they can!

OMG... we must sign this kid and early too. Because of the other high school talent that he alone can bring to Gainesville with him by simply committing early to the Gators.
