Dan Mullen winning more talent through Portal Kombat.
With all these 5 star transfers we should be challenging for the SEC. Oh, yeah, we are!
I wonder if this Will affect Gamble, Zip and the other TEs(transfer wise)?
Test your might
Good question since we have him for two years. But he may take away snaps from both WR and TE, so maybe the other TEs get enough snaps to make it worth sticking around.
Will probably affect Gamble more than Zip. Gamble laid a huge egg during the bowl game.
I don’t think he’ll be eligible until 2022:

Transfers get a free waiver due to Covid this year. He is immediately eligible.
A couple folks have told them previously in the thread but there seems to be an insistence that it’s not correct.
forgive me if I am contributing to confusion, but in addition to blanket waiver for players enrolled in fall 2020 and meeting conditions, are they still likely to pass the new (general) change in rules? NCAA One-Time Transfer Rule Expected To Pass In January, Opening Up A Floodgate Of Transfers
I’m not sure boss. It’s looks like it’s heading that way for sure but what the time frame is I couldn’t say. This coming year is for sure though. They need to go ahead and decide on a rule and implement it so there’s not so much confusion
I am not sure about that, the transfer rule was waived for this year, 2020-2021, I do not believe it has been waived for next year, 2021-2022.
Also, from another thread:
LSU football loses Arik Gilbert to Florida
The SEC apparently still has its own intra-conference transfer rule that has not been waived for 2021-2022.
He can play next year.
Sorry but next year as in this fall or next year as in 2022? Not trying to be an ass just too much conflicting information.
Any issues with qualifying, or is he good to go?
And why is that? Some folks are just determined to prove that Gilbert and Bowman are not eligible to play this year. I don't think they played in 2020, so why would they need to sitout this year?
Yep...the original Gambler Kenny Rogers caught one less pass than our Gambler....and he is 6 feet down. Plus he dropped a bunch less.
Gilbert played 8 games and bow played 1 but I agree I think it’s all moot because of the Covid blanket waiver unless I’ve misunderstood what I’ve read in other places
Gilbert played. Bowman didn't.
