Apparently, 5 receivers have transferred out of ASU, leaving Emory only 5 receivers to throw to, one of which is a walk on. He might find it tough sledding over there.
I have to wonder if Jones doesn't win the starting QB job, might he agree to move to WR, given their lack of depth
Interesting thought. Probably just end up running the ball from the QB position a lot more with him at QB given his penchant for throwing picks and a lack of depth at receiver.
Mullen should learn from this. Seeing is believing, Florida fans love their football. We knew we needed better choices and to try somebody else. When you lock on to just one QB, any weakness is exposed. Playing others, when someone is struggling with quick decisions, confidence and poor play. Just keeping them in the saddle hurts the team and program. Even CBN needs to learn this. They have to earn their playing time by being consistent and moving the chains and scoring. Three points in a half puts your team in a bad way.
Yep. Look at Georgia. Only 7 transfers over the last 2 years. The last 2 regimes sucked at recruiting talent and then using that talent. Spurrier's offense would own college football today when it came to retaining players because he routinely blew out so many teams, his backups had half the snaps of the opposing 1st stringers. That not only gave everyone a chance to play in a game but it built depth. That's why you are seeing so many players head for the portal. Not Napier's fault, it's just that the prior regime brought their F game when it came to recruiting.
