He's actually a little taller than Smith and looks like he has a frame that could add some good weight. I wouldn't think getting up to 200 would be any issue over the next year or two
Pretty sure he plays hoops....those guys usually bulk up once they become football specific

Saw one site that had him listed in the 190s. Very explosive with amazing cutting ability. Not sure about his power running.

Marshall Faulk played at 155 as a freshman and did quite well. He ended up at around 200. Many of these hs kids aren’t even close to done growing and some max out at 16 years old. Never know what the future holds

Total guess, but I bet he probably got up into the higher weight range for football and then drops down during hoops, which coincides with some of the camps where they are measured.

His father didn't have exceptional size or blazing speed. We all know how that turned out.

Kid would have been a great linebacker.

Hate to see a kid's career wasted playing out of position like he was.

I think he showed at the end of last season that he's a pretty great RB too ... when he wants to be.

There was little question how good Emmitt was going to be after what he accomplished at Escambia. EJ's production isn't terribly impressive. You have to watch his clips to be impressed with him. I'm guessing there are some other offensive weapons on that team.

New prediction for EJ based on an interview during a camp in Dallas on March 23rd. Article is on TOS so I can't provide a link. He is raving about the attention he's getting from Stanford and that particular writer is predicting that he'll end up there. Apparently EJ is an exceptional student.

EJ stood out early while playing WR but had to sit out the rest of the camp after of an injury.

No idea what the coaches are thinking or doing at the RB position except staying after Bowman. I don't see any high ranked prospects other than Bowman, Lee or Smith with interest in the Gators and we might not get any one of them.

Bama, where great players go to become average... just another one of the guys.

But I think the coaches are looking to bring in two RBs this cycle. I'd like to get any two of those three because they all compliment each other but as you're suggesting, we'll be lucky to get one. We'll probably be looking at new names by summer.

Appears to have zero interest in UF at this time. Michigan and Ohio State are getting after him but he's still looking like a nole lean. Let's see what happens when they stink it up on the field another season. He'd be smarter to head off to the Big 10.

There is no way Emmitt allows his son to play for FSU. Does not have to be a Gator, but no way FSU

Strange was referencing Toafili in regards to fsu, not Smith

Yeah this pisses me off. With my dad at 6’6 I reached 6’ and 205 in the 9th grade. I was getting recruiting letters from mid major type football programs to come play DE - Army and Navy, UAB, and Georgia Southern to name a few. I didn’t grow another damn inch after the beginning of 9th grade. And the recruiting letters dried up. Not much call for a 6’ 210 pound DE who hasn’t grown in four years
