I’m fairly certain we will have no problem getting another rb.

Emmitt was just announced as the keynote speaker at the UF real estate conference In Orlando in late February.

    He should go to Stanford.

Won’t be in the shadow of his father there.

    He should go to UF...

His father is not that tall and the Gators only play noon games.

If a competitor is scared of a shadow, don’t want him. You either believe in yourself or you don’t.

If you can leave the Auburn weekend, with all it's hype, atmosphere, celebration, and hope for the future and not commit.
I'm just not sure your a Gator.

He might be looking at this as a business decision or a process or just wants to enjoy 5 officials like his father did. (Emmit enjoyed his full allotment of visits btw)

I just go back to he's just not a Gator in my mind. But who knows where the kid will sign? And he in fact is a kid!

I'm pretty sure we're no higher than 3 on his list. And that's just because his dad went here.

Well that's not particularly good news crl. So odd we are whiffing on RB's.

I imagine we'll get a good one before it's all said and done. Not sure losing EJ is that big a deal.

I believe the length of this thread is about nostalgia. When I look at his film, he looks more polished than some rb recruits, but I don't see anything elite, maybe his catching ability. There are many rb in our own back yard that have the equivalent or better running ability of EJ Smith. I think that is where we need our coaches to spend their energy.

No one remaining on our board is elite. There a few in our back yard who are equivalent but I haven't seen anyone clearly better than EJ who is still available. The silence around the RB position tells me something is going on behind the scenes that will be very positive and very surprising.

Maybe RBs look at our run blocking (?) and question wether they want to have 8 carries for -2 yards for the game. We have to be able to run the ball or they aint comin'...however I bet we get a nice WR haul with what Mullen is doing.
