Yes. Imagine Cox getting a waiver, and having a battle for playing time between a 5* in Cox and Bogle in maybe the top 3 of rush ends from this last class, depending on how you assess them.
I'd redshirt bogle and play greenard, zuniga, moon, chatfield, and Cox from the Buck. I'm sure there are 3-4 other bucks I'm forgetting!
If I remember right, Moon stayed in the game on some passing downs as an ILB. Cox will be similar in having position flexibility that we could see Bogle and Cox on the field at the same time. I don't like having too many Bucks as well, but if they can fit into the best 11 for a particular down, I am all for it.
I think that's good, but at the expense of which players? I just think we have a logjam at Buck and if a true fresh is one of our top3, what's it say about the others? Hopefully they can bulk up and move to the strongside. Curious about chatfields actual size considering hes been mentioned more st SSDE.
Agree on the first 2, but I'd get Cox out there ASAP. Doubt hes gonna be interested in staying in college any longer than he needs/has to.
Some of those bucks will be completely different players by the time they leave here. Just law of averages.
I'd rather have him a whole season than part of it if the waiver drags on longer than week 3ish. By then, the depth chart would be set...well hopefully it is
Have not seen an updated weight, but he looks the part already, my guess would be in the 230's. Heard he has impressed the most out of all the freshman.
Wish some of these bucks could play one of the 2 true LB positions where we could really use them. Especially next year.
Even redshirts can play in four games With the portal if they can play and aren’t they have options Redshirting is for actual injuries now
