Nothing to do w/ financial aide I swear..lol

AU just put a 4 million dollar upgrade to baseball facilities on hold, and Arkansas just approved a 2 million $ tunnel to access their 25 million $ facility..lol

So I started investigating and found this.

Believe that was from 2016 season. And kinda explains the difference lol.

Vandy of course N/A, but David Price just donated 2.7 million recently

UF at 3K??...lol that's not going to go very far toward new place.

UF’s will go way up with first season ticket sales in new stadium. They are instituting a “booster fee” for premium seats just like they did for basketball after the O’Dome renovation. I was surprised to find out that we have only about 1,000 season ticket holders. Those of us now holding season tickets will be assigned “loyalty points” based on how long we’ve have them. If you contribute bucks to the new stadium you’ll earn more points. Incentive is higher point level moves you up the list to pick seats in the new stadium.

It will be interesting to see how different this looks after 2021 and subsequent years.

That $3,000 is a little misleading, the inflows are less consistent, but the $3,000 doesn't take into account the years when larger gifts are made. We just don't have the steady flow from contributions that they would like to have. I know that there will be an increase in interest in premium areas by a small number of folks willing to make some generous contributions.

One of the things I find interesting about that table is the ration of game day sales to ticket sales.

At the low end, you have:

    MSU 3.3%
    Georgia 4.1%
    TAMU 5.1%
    Arkansas 5.6%

At the high end, you have:

    Tennessee 67.7%
    Missouri 36.4%
    FLORIDA 31.2%
    Ole Miss 31.0%

That's either a huge difference in operations or something is being counted in some places and not being counted in others.

I kind of thought it was a mis print honestly. Or just insufficient data.

I still wonder where people go after buying tickets(not just UF), b/c its not the baseball stadium..lol

"Holders" is key word there. About 2,700 season tickets sold from what I was told. That number should increase slightly this year as people on fence about season tickets want to have an opportunity for new stadium in 2020. Based on projections, it's probably safe to say the 2020 season ticket number will be around 3200-3300. There will only be 4,100 or so chairbacks so between visiting teams and single game purchasers most every game those seats should be accounted for.

I think a large chunk of the donation are by former players best I can tell. Im guessing at least 50% of AU is Donaldson & Hudson( I know they donate, no idea how much)

This is also for just one year(16 I think it said), not an average.

Somebody should donate a pitching coach. That's what we really need.

Sully is our pitching coach. He does a decent job for a catcher. Most importantly he doesn't wreck young arms.

I remember my first year following GATOR baseball. Stick with it, it gets better.

Last 5 years in the SEC, no team has more #1 finishes than FLORIDA in pitching (2). Only Texas A&M has a better average ranking than FLORIDA (they've been top 3 each of the past 5 seasons).

    2019 SEC Baseball - Standings & Leaders
    2018 SEC Baseball - Standings & Leaders
    2017 SEC Baseball - Standings & Leaders
    2016 SEC Baseball - Standings & Leaders
    2015 SEC Baseball - Standings & Leaders

No SEC team has had a better strength of schedule over that 5-year stretch (sourced by either Boyd's ISR or Warren Nolan's posted SOS).

Of 40 FLORIDA players that have pitched in MLB, I believe 10 of them have played for Sully, and that 40 is including David Ross!

@74nole is retired and knows what he is talking about. Just a bit of a drive for him, though.
