Trent Brown is his best friend and just signed a 4 year $66 million dollar contract. Played with a lot of NFL guys at UF and Raiders as well. Would think they should kick in with deeper pockets first. Wonder if social security disability benefit would kick in early as well. Perhaps we collect for him during a Gator football game?

Over 66K now, but he is going to need a lot more than the initial 50K goal.

It's over $121,000 as of Thursday evening 8/1. I noticed that Connor Shaw kicked in. Classy. Jeff Driskel, too.

    Feeling his ex-coach’s love
Muschamp calls ex-Gator Ball’s serious health crisis ‘very unfair’
    By Edgar Thompson sentinel
GAINESVILLE — South Carolina coach Will Muschamp is not surprised by the outpouring of support for stricken former linebacker Neiron Ball.

Muschamp, who coached Ball when both were at UF, said Ball’s winning personality, radiant smile and unwavering determination made him popular with coaches, teammates and anyone else he met.
Ball now struggles to survive at the age of just 26 due to a brain aneurysm that has left him paralyzed in all four limbs and in need of significant care and rehabilitation.

“It’s just a sad situation,” Muschamp said Thursday. “He’s as a delightful young man as you’ll ever be around. A selfless young man that was so good with people, great with kids, had a smile on his face all the time.
