LOL. It was South Carolina. We were favored by 20+ points. If you want to go with flu as an excuse, then fine. Just understand that every rival lurker haunting this site right now is laughing themself silly and posting this thread for the entertainment value.

 

Truly pathetic excuse. Flu outbreaks are occurring nationally. I guarantee it has hit other locker rooms as well. That's why you recruit quality depth and coach them up - next man up. Except that Mullen is clearly never going to be a strong recruiter. His personality simply doesn't endear him to prospects and their families. There are literally quotes from top recruits who have visited the Gators saying as much.

I think most fans aren’t viewing this loss in a vacuum. It’s just the final nail in the DM coffin. I’ve been hopeful for meaningful changes to be made and never really thought Mullen was a part of that. However, last night was really a pathetic showing. And, it was the result of everything that DM has direct control over in this program. At some point, it’s impossible to continue to give the man a pass. That time may be upon us.
