I grew up in SoFla back when the Braves were the nearest baseball team and never cared about them. Cared even less when Florida got the Marlins and Devil Rays (even though both teams have generally been pretty lousy).

I still care about the Braves and couldn't care less about Florida's baseball teams. Florida is for spring training.

Nope and I find it annoying seeing all things Braves in the twitter feed on the Homepage. But that's just me.

Yes! Grew up in the Tampa area and was a longtime Rays fan. My wife and I moved to Chattanooga, TN about 6 months ago (a little over an hour north of SunTrust Park) and decided to become Braves fans instead. We just got tired of them constantly lowering payroll and being outnumbered by rival fans at home games in a warehouse called Tropicana Field. It became official the day the Rays traded Longoria. I went to my first Braves game in May and it was awesome. I had forgotten what a real ball park was like.

No. I'm a Mets fan, and I care less and less even about them each day.

I'm not sure of the reason for the question, but I do. They are my favorite baseball team.
It's been our family team since the 60s (grandparents, etc.)

    Since you asked...

I can assure you, it’s NOT just you. Lol

I can assure you, I have a reason for asking the question but really wanted to see how the average GATOR fan felt.

    I used to.
Actually went to a game or two.
    Saw Hank Aaron play.
    Had some good outfield seats.
    I kept yelling "Henry!" "Henry!"
He finally looked over, nodded and smiled.

I grew up in North Florida and the Braves were the closest team to me. Between TBS and a 300 mile car ride, I could watch every game on tv or in person.

I follow the Marlins now because I live in South Florida but the Braves have been and still are my favorite team.

So to answer your question, yes I do.

I cared about the Braves and went to one game to see Aaron play. But I kind of lost interest after allegations of domestic violence against the manager Bobby Cox.

As I recall, he said something like his wife accidentally hit him in the fist with her face.

Like the Marlins and Rays being allowed on tv together throughout most of Florida, imo, the Braves should have been granfathered in as well after TBS was dropped. The Braves were for the -most part- the state of Florida’s team since the late 70’s... especially the central to northern part of the state.

Easy team to dislike, they are in Georgia and Georgia sucks, the fsu like warchant, fleeing a 19 year old stadium so they could rip off taxpayers in the burbs.

    Real easy team to dislike.

Nope! Don't care about any MLB team anymore. Used be an Expos fan, that died with the '94 Strike. At the time the Expos were having their best season ever and the strike ended up cancelling the season. They were 74–40, and were six games ahead of the Atlanta Braves with the best record in baseball.

I quit following MLB when it became steroid ball. It sort of snuck up on the game, I don't think anyone said a word about it when Mark McGuire was hitting all those home runs, and Sammy Sosa too, like Ruth's old record was suddenly nothing. People gradually came to realize what was happening.

Same thing has been going on in women's tennis. Crickets. How many really think that Serena Williams is just naturally built that way?

I won't even get started on football.

Yankees fan here. I was born and raised in St. Pete where the Yankees had a farm team-the St. Petersburg Saints. Remember going to Al Lang field to watch the games.
    Feeling real old now. LOL.
