    Divers Head to Alabama for Auburn Invite

    Divers set to compete in the Auburn Invitational against three SEC foes.

    GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida men's and women's diving teams are back in action this week. The two teams are on the road in Auburn, Alabama for the Auburn Diving Invitational. The invitational begins on Monday, Dec. 17 and concludes on Wednesday, Dec. 19.

    The women brought home third place at last year's Auburn Diving Invitational, while the men placed fourth.

    Brooke Madden leads the women's squad and all of the SEC on the 1-meter. She has a season-best score of 344.10. Madden ranks No. 4 in the SEC on 3-meter, with a score of 337.70. Elizabeth Perez finds herself inside the Top-10 in the SEC in both the 1-meter and 3-meter. Perez sits in the No. 5 spot on the 3-meter with a mark of 336.10 and holds the No. 10 spot on the 1-meter with a score of 287.62.

    Nick Lydon Paces Gators on Day One of Auburn Invite

    Nick Lydon places fifth in the 1-meter.
    Lydon recorded a score of 271.40 in the prelims. In the finals, he improved on his score with a total of 303.05. He finished the finals ranked fifth.

    Lyle Hayes-Macaluso collected a mark of 258.80 in the prelims, before he notched a score of 246.10. He finished the finals in 12th.

    Alex Farrow posted a combined score of 260.90 in the prelims. In the finals, he placed 13th with a mark of 242.55.

    Perez and Whitner place second and fourth, respectively, on the 3-meter.
    Perez tallied a score of 263.00 in the prelims, before she posted a mark of 308.35 in the finals. Her effort in the finals earned her a second-place finish.

    After she collected 278.10 points in the prelims, Whitner notched a personal-best score of 299.60 in the finals. She placed fourth in the finals with her personal-best effort.

    Lauren Snider placed eighth in the finals with a score of 257.55, after she improved on her prelim mark of 228.90.

    Lauren Snider records a fifth-place finish on the platform.

    AUBURN, Ala. –The University of Florida women's diving team returned to the diving well at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center on Wednesday for conclusion of the Auburn Diving Invitational. Lauren Snider produced a Top-5 performance on the platform for the Gators, which led to an overall first-place finish for UF.

    Snider, who had the fourth toughest dive set, finished in fifth place with a combined score of 211.00.

    Hayes-Macaluso has Career Performance on Final Day of Auburn Invite

    Hayes-Macaluso's personal-best performance gives him a Top-5 finish.
    AUBURN, Ala. – The University of Florida men's diving team returned to the James E. Martin Aquatic Center on Wednesday. Lyle Hayes-Macaluso paced the Gators as he placed fourth on the platform and achieved a career high on the last day of the Auburn Invite.

    Hayes-Macaluso finished with a career-high score of 327.55 on the platform and is the best by a Gator this season. His fourth-place mark was an NCAA Zone qualifying score.

    Alex Farrow collected 243.05 points, nearly tying his personal best of 244.35, as he placed eighth.
