    Hannah deserves some consideration here. Interesting - he transferred to S Alabama for his senior year. Hannah averaged 14.7/8.9 while at Florida. Walsh, who also played three years in Gainesville, averaged 14.1/4.4

    oneatatime;

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks a million for posting this. I had no idea that Reggie and Coach Stewart had passed. That 1977 team was really good. Got beat by Deland, with Oliver Lee (Marquette) in the Regional Finals.
    Coach Stewart was an awesome man, but I never knew he took Reggie in when he was young.
    Coach always came up to me after we played games against Titusville (3) and at local camps and said I was much better than I was playing and should give better effort. Talked to me and my Dad about joining him at BCC and told me "Give me two years and 110% effort and I'll get you a Division 1 scholarship". But being totally immature and full of myself, I already knew I was going to walk on at Florida my Freshman year and earn that scholarship myself.......... Man was I stupid.
    Thanks again for posting............ I nice walk down memory lane.

    WTF? UK fans by the thousands at Rupp told me that Walsh was gay. Is that the best ever drag queen?
