hiding out in a non-extradiction country? Major raid by group that specializes in human trafficking raided his estates while he is nowhere to be found. Sean 'Diddy' Combs' properties in L.A. and Miami raided by federal agents (msn.com) U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents have opened an investigation of hip-hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs, searching properties connected to him in Los Angeles and Miami, an agency spokesperson said on Monday. The inquiry was being directed by Homeland Security Investigations agents in New York, where he was accused by a former girlfriend in a lawsuit filed in federal court in November of engaging in sex trafficking. ............................... Los Angeles-based television stations carried aerial video footage showing HSI agents and other law enforcement authorities entering an L.A. mansion on Monday in what those news outlets reported was a raid on Combs' Holmby Hills estate. TV stations KNBC, KTTV and others reported that federal authorities were also executing a search warrant at the rap mogul's Miami home. An HSI spokesperson, responding to a Reuters query seeking comment on the reports, said: "Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners."
He’s escaped every other crime he’s committed, even in front of witnesses. What should this time be any different?
True story - About 4-5 months ago a friend/colleague (well known sax player in the DC area) told me Diddy would be going down soon for sex trafficking and murder. I didn’t think much of it since this colleague is normally a big talker. Well here we are.
I had a bit of a different thought: How bad must Combs’ crimes be this time that law enforcement can’t just ignore them or do a half-ass investigation that facilitates acquittal as in the past?
Think I read that the prosecutor in the club shooting case was mad because the witnesses apparently changed their stories at trial? Not sure if there was witness tampering involved, but if there was, I'm not sure if that was the fault of law enforcement or its investigation. Of course, the rich and powerful can often get away with things that others wouldn't.
They should give him a deal to where he avoids prison if we find out definitively who killed Biggie and Tupac from him

Hard to imagine a culture where someone could become more popular after being arrested and/or credibly accused of committing serious crimes.
Especially crimes that involve slavery. You would think the rap community would be bigly against slavery and trafficking.
My guess is he's making noises about fish who are big enough to make offers that law enforcement can't refuse.
