    ESPN 2. Halftime.

    Cheeze: 6 pts, 4 ast, 5 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk
    PJ Carlesimo really praising Chiozza.

Devin just had a thunder dunk and has 6 points in the half.

The two also lead the team in minutes played with 15 each.

Cheese had the best +/- on the Wizards today. He can play in the NBA, but that doesn’t mean he will. Devin was great, but he still has a mediocre jump shot. He is an elite athlete.

One of Robinson's dunk was #2 on SC top 10.

How great that those guys came into UF together and are now playing together in NBA summer league games. Go Gators!

Devin should definitely make a roster. I can see Cheeze eventually there.

The biggest problem is that there are a lot of players that can play and not that many open spots. There are way more players coming into the league each year than are leaving/retiring.

I think he has the game and athleticism but his size is really going to hurt him on the defensive side.

That is an excuse similar to small hands for QB. If you can play, you can play. I think the height won't be an issue.

Kay Felder Cleveland Cavaliers 5′ 9″
Isaiah Thomas Boston Celtics 5’ 9”
Tyler Ulis Phoenix Suns 5′ 10″
Ty Lawson Sacramento Kings 5’ 11”
    D.J. Augustin Orlando Magic 6’ 0″
    J.J. Barea Dallas Mavericks 6’ 0″
Aaron Brooks Indiana Pacers 6’ 0″
Isaiah Canaan Chicago Bulls 6′ 0″
Darren Collison Sacramento Kings 6’ 0″
Yogi Ferrell Brooklyn Nets 6′ 0″
Kyle Lowry Toronto Raptors 6’ 0″
Patty Mills San Antonio Spurs 6’ 0″
Jameer Nelson Denver Nuggets 6’ 0″
Chris Paul Los Angeles Clippers 6’ 0″
Ish Smith Detroit Pistons 6’ 0″
Fred VanVleet Toronto Raptors 6′ 0″

Don't let NBA summer league games fool you as to whether a participants game is at NBA level standards. in that game against the spurs there was maybe one NBA player on the floor for either team (Lonnie Walker)

outside of that, it's a collection of D-league guys and newly drafted rookies. Most summer league squads only have one or two guys with guaranteed contracts.

Outside of Paul and Lowry (maybe Collison) it's a list of journeymen backups. Now I'm not saying that Cheese doesn't have the game. In fact, I said the opposite. But most teams are going to go with a taller guy if they have the option.

Tough road for Washington with Wall, Sessions, Lawson, Rivers, Frazier and Satoranski all at the PG spot on that roster

I agree for the most part. I wasn't saying you are making that excuse. I am saying a lot of others will try to say that.

Nothing wrong with being a journeymen backup though. It does seem as though it would be with a different team.

Great game again for these two today. Cheese with 11 shines and 2 turnovers. The rest of the team with 7 assists. Devin 8 for 9 with 22 points. Needs to do a better job of rebounding though.
