I don’t think DeSantis needs to apologize for Florida (generally) being the envy of most states.

 

Just pointing out that the article is referencing college education and not public schools which is a factor for a family in moving to your state. As a proud alumnus of the University of Florida, I want to distinguish that from what the general education system, which is just middle of the pack nationally. DonLight has tried to attack and influence the higher education system here in Florida. Trump has gone one step above, undermining one of this country’s best institutions in Harvard, an institution that attacks the best in the world. And despite what MAGA thinks, you need opposing views in your institutions of higher learning. So yes, I disagree with small minded people who are satisfied with the 22 ranked state education system nationally.
I will just be clear. I don’t like Desantis. Never have. Never will. IMO, he is phony as they come. I think other voters outside Florida seen that as well which may explain why he didn’t do well in the first place.
