Not sure why this is so hard to grasp really
Poster child for today's environment.
In fact, this applies to all recruiting at Colleges and Universities. About 15 years ago, I looked at a U of Ga history of Enrolled Admits that started way back in the 1870s, when the Enrollment Pct was about 95% of admitted students. In the 1980s, the number of students who applied to 4 or more institutions grew by Zillions as the WWW took control. In the early 2000s, I analyzed the Pct of Admits who enrolled for all 9 (at the time SUS institutions), and for those who applied to only 1 school (I didn't have complete data on that but lot), the enroll pct was upwards of 60% for all schools, however, for those who applied to 3 or more, it was like just below 30% for UF, and more near 20-25% for all other SUS schools.
So, yes, changing and choosing other things characterizes our current interconnected universe and young people who realize they have more than one option.
I don't know where Hunter will sign but I would take the odds it will not be fsu.
I agree 100%. I also think UGA has moved on. If he doesn't stop kicking around he may lose his UF offer all together and I'll have to go to a USF or UCF for smaller/lesser school like that
I knew it , we really didn’t want him
There seems to be quite a few at this point we don’t want.
In other words he will sign with FSU
If you have something to indicate otherwise feel free to share, we welcome your insight
His post season performances have been underwhelming thus he appears to be on the "B" list for many teams .Insurance policy if you will.
I really don’t have any reference for any of this BS. I’m just shocked that I’m actually replying to a silly ass post you made. This stuff is laughable at best . But keep at it it dude.. you are awesome .
His self-reported measurables were found to be less at camp and his performances did not stand up to his ranking. That you do not know that does not make the information provided to you laughable. In my mind he is still a take for UF now, but getting Pickering would be a much bigger deal as there are less concern of his measurables, motivation and abilities.
Compare Hunter to Summerall. Summerall has had some bad camp performances, but everyone knows he is raw with great measurables, and he is still being pursued heavily. That people are pointing this out does not make it sour grapes.
As i expected, the usual
It was just a silly comment that Gators make .. “we really didn’t want him “ just having fun . Come on knuckleheads.. you guys are ate up with this chit!! Get control man
You don't give yourself a self-proclaimed nickname Rambo and then become soft at these camps that's just absurd.
Do you think that Hunter is not a take for UF post-FNL?
Have no info "post" FNL, but my guess is things are much better. The simple fact he attended and worked out, combined with a little shrinking of the board at his position would point that way. But no idea how he looked at workout or how the conversation went. But given his track record, the status today means little....could do a 180 by tomorrow
Hunter actually won most of his one on One battles at camp. Really a statement about Hevesy, as was the weakest OL showing at FNL from a talent perspective in many years
How long has Hevesy been coaching at UF his 2nd time around? And did he recruit the current O line?
We didn't want him anyway.
