Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is riding a tidal wave of anti-vaccine resentment

Kennedy has recently polled at 20% in a poll with Biden 60% and Williamson 8%. I wonder if his anti-vax positions are what are raising his support level.

Losing by a 40% margin isn't exactly that great...

I would say “Kennedy” is what accounts for the small support he gets.

He has been a maniac his whole life. He is a founding member of the vaccine-autism nuttiness.

And he gets run from an odd collective that includes the likes of Bill Maher and Steve Bannon. He’s also getting majorly pumped by Fox News.

He has always received this unearned bump from lineage.

It could also be that D’s are also falling into the conspiracy cult. Life is so much simpler when you know it’s just a few people causing all of life’s problems. It’s a much easier way to think. Not thinking, that is.

Suspect that name recognition more than agreeing with the sheer stupidity of the anti-vax. But plainly there are some really stupid types

Yeah I can’t stand the guy.

Apart from his ridiculous conspiratorial views, he does represent the anti war / pacifist wing of the party that is somewhat underrepresented.

Historically the anti vax movement has primarily been from the granola crunching left, which is what makes the whole Covid anti vax movement so odd.

Bill Maher isn’t an outright anti vaxxer, but he flirts with the concept from time to time.

Some of the right is infatuated with him due to his anti vax, anti Ukraine war and anti establishment views. But they mainly like him because he criticizes democrats, at least on a few issues.

DeSantis best and only chance is that Trump’s legal troubles get so overwhelming people finally get tired of it.

You would think a viable Democrat would enter the race just in case Biden’s health deteriorates.

As far as DeSantis goes, both Trump's legal troubles and the fact that he is now officially in the race could shrink the gap. For Biden, if Newsome were to enter the race it could get dicey, but as long as the DNC is protecting Biden (no debates) he is pretty safe.

No viable Democrat will enter the race as long as Biden is in it. It's career suicide.

Think about it though, it could be a long shot play for someone like Bernie Sanders. He enters the race, knowing if Biden stays healthy throughout the nomination process, he's out but he is 81 and he wouldn't have a shot after this. But if something happens to him health, God please no, he would be in the perfect spot. It would be too late for anyone else to get in the race and he would be a shoe in.

I don’t think a major party has ever organized a primary debate against its own incumbent. I am also skeptical that 1 out of 5 Democrats supports RFKJ.

I doubt Sanders wants to spend the entire primary getting embarrassed for the minute chance that something happens to Biden and the party doesn't choose Harris (who would become the incumbent President) to succeed him.

So if the 80 year old has health issues we pivot to the 81 year old. Seems about right.

One of many to come fake candidates who exist to siphon off the Biden moderate vote and elect Trump.

All you need to know is this guy is backed by and appears on Bannon's show to see the gameplan here.
