I'd say when you get a guy that has played for 2 years and started 11 games you can throw out the HS ranking. He may not be All-American, but he's had better production in 2 years than our overall #27 DE recruit (Clayton). Not sure he'll ever start for us, but we have scholly's to give and he's big and fast and adds depth.

Agreed, not like he was playing DIII either, WV had a good schedule.

565 is 247Sports rank while 902 is the composite. I guess 247 thought of him more highly than other recruiting geeks. :D

Who cares where he was ranked coming out of HS. Some players (most actually) mature a little later than others but when they hit their prime they excel...forget the past ...look forward like DJ Trump!

I was just adding some back story because I'd bet most on here weren't aware of this kid in high school unless they were from his area but I agree with you.

I like it. His body has gone through two full years of college conditioning, and he was at least productive in a Power 5 conference school. He will contribute.

    This is a great pickup.

Adds Depth at the very worst.

He's actually Will Grier. Continued use of PEDs contributed to his exponential growth spurt.

Hell, this kid may start. He's a true SDE in this new system, especially if he adds 10lbs. Most of our DE's were recruited for 4-3 and are in the >255lb range. This kid is 270 and has made 11 starts. CeCe will be playing OLB, where he should have been all along. And some of the 240-250 guys (Zuniga, Polite, Clayton) will have to grow into SDE or move to LB (I think Clayton is up to 270+).

I haven’t seen him on any roster distribution as of this date. Did he get in school or not. Are there issues ?( as usual with UF)
It’s probably the friggin Math class that is not clearing him.

I think an article said he just didn't show up to enroll or something like that.

    From Robbie Andreu
West Virginia graduate transfer Adam Shuler is not enrolled in classes at Florida yet and his status for the upcoming season is uncertain.

Seems like it. We had 18 in our last class and only one DL so there is room. The question I would have is if it either signals something about our DL board from the staff's POV or if it will reduce the likelihood of DL coming on board this class.

That doesn't make sense with camp starting early august. Can a grad transfer get away with enrolling just for fall and still go to camp on time? You would think he would be here lifting and acclimating regardless.

He will play this year and be in the rotation, won't effect this recruiting class.
