Like when they didn't back him on his "death threats" did he not a personal detail like he wanted?

More facilities, support staff etc. I'm sure he saw what Bama was providing. Not that he warranted it, but he probably understood what it takes.

The small potatoes recruiting violation and attached show-cause had to chap Dan. It was ridiculously played up by some outlets as BIG violations. I don’t know if it’s now or not, but I can see Dan bolting to the league at some point for many of the same understandable reasons Billy did. Top-shelf recruiting is a constant never ending daily grind. Even more so when you’re competing against better “funded” (wink-wink) programs for these guys.

Ummm what nfl team would hire Mullen over the myriad of other better candidates?

It’s not like he won a NC or even a SEC championship. Plus, many regard him as “quirky”, not to mention the number of other things like national media calling him out for his poor clock management in the SEC championship game among several other peculiar things this year.

    sorry just don’t see it.

Imagine what Mullen could do with Deshawn Watson. Don't see it happening, but it would be interesting

I haven’t really read a lot about the “violations” but isn’t it from something that happened a few years ago and hasn’t the majority of the punishment, if not all, been served?

I think it is more Mullen’s big mouth than intent. He has said a lot of stupid things lately. From Wilson to his excuses for the Okla game to this. He did the same thing at MSU. After all, he comes from the Urban Meyer school of drama. I still like him. He’s done a great job. I like our future. But if he’s serious, oh well, we’ll find another coach.

He's going to give coach speak for stuff like Wilson. He can't come out and trash the player on national tv. I mean he can and we'd laugh it off but I think to CDM it sends the wrong message to players. He probably says much more honest things behind doors with the team.

Stuff like this is why things are so chaotic right now. Gator fans and basement media pages are spreading nonsense with no sources and not legitimacy to their work. just type and send it. We are our own worst enemy right now

Gator fans are hilarious. Any little success the team has and all of a sudden all the coaches are bolting to be head coaches and any player with at least one reception, including the orange and blue game, is declaring for the NFL draft.

That is interesting. UF too smart for a weird move like that. Poison the coach-hiring well for decades to come? Nah. Business as usual.

I used to buy this but, honestly in modern college football, what coach would you have 100% confidence in to be the head coach next month?
