I think Miami's new OC had a lot to do with it. For the first time ever Miami will run an uptempo spread, King probably saw himself a better fit in that offense.

I think I saw her in "For your enjoyment 3.0" thread in The Pub. Oh well to young and nailing bubbleheads.

Those I watched, he was a runner but not a very good passer. Works in some lesser leagues but whatever works for him.

So, in Gator terms, when do we play Miami next and what year is King in school (i.e., will we face him)?

We'll never see King. His eligibility is done after 2020.

Never say never. Maybe a bowl game? Playoffs?

Miami doesn't seem at all ready for a playoff run next year, and, a bowl game with them, while possible would be extremely unlikely for two Florida teams, IMO.

Well, UMs schedule for next year was rated the 2nd easiest of all division 1 teams so they should / could win enough games to make Great bowl, even if they aren’t a good team. Though in 2019 they had the 3rd easiest schedule and that didn’t help.

There remains a conference affiliation to some of these Bowls, if ranked. Some have argued Virginia was kept in the top 25 rankings, as a courtesy for conference affiliated Bowl consideration.

Virginia did turn out to be a worthy opponent in the bowl game, though. We could have used CJ, but, they fought hard for four quarters.

ScUM's OL is still going to be a liability as they move to a new blocking scheme. As weak as their schedule is, they still have six games that are basically pick'ems.

Camping World or Belk Bowl will be a good year for them. Even with King.
