Heck of a run, taking out 4 historic programs along the way.

Hitless first time through the order in all 3 games. And gave up a run+ in 1st inning all 3 games. Bad combo.
Little flukish tonight early, really should of only been 3 or 4 run deficit in late innings, but 3 or 4 was plenty.

 

Pretty sure AU /Dye did, not sure if only ones. Not that Im bragging

 

There were 4 teams. AU, UA and MSU. Not sure about the 4th.

 

wasnt it all of Pells buddies from his Bama days? Dye, Perkins, someone Im forgetting

 

How can he win that over Wyatt?? Asking for a friend

Hey, some people get no respect, I tell ya.

 

If that were case he would of hit about .150 instead of .400(.450 most of year, faded down stretch a little) All he ever sees is outer half. Has 7-10 HRs to RC/RF.

His vulnerable spot is up and in,, but rarely do Ps ever risk going there.

As far as SEC PoY. I was surprised, thought couple Vols or Moss(aTm) would of got it before the 2 that did.

Sonny missed 9 games vs weak pre conf pitching or his HR/RBI totals are much larger. Also hit another 10-15 line drives more than half way up LF wall at home that are HRs in every other park(excpt Vandy I guess.lol). Certainly no 6 foot high 1 iron HRs to LF . Absurd OB%, which is kinda the goal of at bats.

 

It is 330’ down the line at UF. Small fence or not, 330’ is a legitimate shot. There are a bunch of Cracker Jack box stadiums out there (e.g. Lindsey Nelson) that are way worse than Florida Ballpark.

 

They all play tiny in southeast regardless of dimensions.. except UK.

It seemed every time a looked over at Gville regional on tv. a ball was top spinning over net in LF..lol what it reminded me of

 

OK to the final series. #2 seed in the Gainesville regional. Hmmm what could have been.

 

I noticed that Crooks for OU doesn't wear batting gloves.

Too bad David Letterman now longer has his show. Instead of Terry Forester he could call Sonny D a "fat tub of goo".

And Wyatt wasn't even first team All-SEC for some reason I cannot fathom.

 

I agree Florida Ballpark can play small to LF. No doubt.

 

Appears the ball is making everywhere play small this year, even Omaha. If believe those that say that.
I would think the ball being dfferent would be common knowledge. And would of been brought up before post season. Is it just the batch of post season balls that are juiced?? no idea.

I was hoping for a bunch of 2-1, 3-2 type games in regards to AU. They took care of the 1 part in losses.

 

Visually, I didn’t think it was particularly hitter friendly in terms of HR this year. I haven’t tracked the numbers but the games I went to weren’t big HR games. Lots of walks. Felt like a number of errors. Some serious misreads in LF in particular. Sun or what I don’t know.

 

It was sun for Bello(AU) yesterday,, he had no clue off bat. One almost hit him in feet .lol

Not sure what current total of HRs is.. Thought were on record pace(for that park) first couple of days they said. Rock hit first one between alleys today.

 

The Mac was like a phone booth down the lines and to the power alleys, but the ball always died to center.

The new ballpark is harder to hit out down the lines and the ball seems to carry to center really well.

At the Mac left field was the sun field for early evening games. At the Conundrum Ball Park it is right field.
