Question for y’all—have they obviously done away with the rule disallowing all of the excess lengths of rawhide dangling from pitchers gloves? If so, I guess I’m again showing my age… It’s been much more noticeable to me throughout this post season pretty much across the board with pitchers gloves.

I don’t follow that HBP call that they said he didn’t lean into it. Regardless, Ole Miss’ Earl has to throw strikes. Maybe Gaddis will be better.
Greg— If he moves his body into it they will call the no HBP. The rule further states that if the hitter has started his swing (hands moving the bat) and his body gets hit then he’s awarded the HBP. At least that’s how I interpret it.
