I need to cut and paste a story. What commands do I use to cut and paste the web address listed at the top of the screen to another site?
For instance when I hit on the above address bar - here a Gator Country address , - it lights up but no cut and paste instructions appear. What am I doing wrong?
It depends on the device with which you are afflicted. Selecting text and manipulating it depends totally on the hardware and software. Are you using a computer or a phone? What software runs (Windows/Macintosh/IOS or Andriod) on the device
If you’re using Microsoft, highlight the text, then hit Ctrl and C at the same time, or right click and a copy option will appear. To past, it’s control V, or right click and a paste option will be there.
If you're on a mobile device like an Android, when the text is highlighted, try pressing on the screen where the text is highlighted for a second or two, and that should give you the cut/copy/paste menu when you take your finger off the screen.
