Dumping another coach is the easy part.

 

Trust the process.

 

Had this trip booked since they announced the series but I’m sure as hell not wasting my hard earned dollars to watch this dumpster fire of a coach ruining a roster loaded with talent.

He has successfully ruined the confidence of a generational talent at quarterback. I have zero doubt if DJ was being coached by a (real, not fake Billy) offensive guru he would be among the best qb’s in the nation. Shows if you are a player the NIL isn’t everything and going to the right coach is more important. His long term earning potential as an NFL quarterback is shot at this point. And if he does turn it around, it won’t be here unless we land Kiffin or a coach who will utilize his talents properly.

 

Hard to argue with that

 

Disagree bacon, dislike, come on man, is not living in reality. In 3 games DJ has played sub par to terrible. The USF loss is unacceptable. We won the first game because that might be one of the worst football teams ever assembled. This LSU loss might be worse than the USF loss. That is a team we should have beat last night, we any amount of decent QB play. He gifted the 10 points and we lose by those 10 points.

DJ's has a brand and he is not going to continue to just lose games. Do you think with nil millions on the line he is going to play for a team headed to 1-12 or 2-11 with him at QB?

While BN is a terrible game day coach, he has assembled a decent team last year and this year I do believe is even more talented. This does not mean he will ever win a NC, no matter the talent level. BN undoing will be that DJ was overhyped and that was not able to read a defense.

Do not give me the nonsense that he is only a sophomore, we could all list freshmen and sophomore QB's who came into college football with less fan fair and lit up whole seasons. He either has it or he does not regardless of the coach.

Both statements can be true. If DJ was a generational talent it really does not matter who the coach is, the guy just has it and it will show. Nothing about DJ playing this year shows anything like that, but we do know is that Mertz was mediocre when he got here and looked better than he ever has playing here.

 

Scared money is better than dumb money, and we have dumb money

 

The boosters said we can’t go firing the coach every 3-4 years. This is what they want.

I am sure glad we started a thread about this. I was wondering whether there were others who saw it also.

 

I’m done with season tickets. Made that decision last season. Games cost too much, eat up an entire weekend, and it is no longer worth it.

Next home game that stadium previously known as The Swamp will be half empty. Congratulations Scott Stricklin. You’ve destroyed our football program

BASKETBALL….

 

We are screwed way beyond the tactical issues with our team and how it is run.
UF has no president and a dead man walking as AD and no plan in place to correct either problem.

How do you replace the AD when you have an interim president? Who would come here to be the next AD in a lame duck administration? What top notch head coach would come here to try and run the team when everyone associated with the football program is calling for the AD’s head, and there is nobody firmly in place to run the freaking university?

We are screwed and will be for years to come. I don’t see a logical scenario to get us out of this rut in the next 5 years - maybe more.

I have hit rock bottom

 

Hopefully fans will stop going to the swamp. That's the only way to guarantee change.
