I don’t think UF will accept a screen shot or paper ticket at the gate anymore. The new tix have rolling bar codes and the ticket screen is live if you’re scanning. If you add to your wallet and use the tap feature, I’m pretty sure they can only be in one wallet. If you transfer it to someone else, it’s automatically removed from your wallet.
Very few give the ootion of print at home for exactly that reason. Another tip is always add to your wallet. I went to the clown game a couple years ago and forgot to transfer from stubhub to my eallet. The internet was so bad at the stadium from the crowd, i had to walk three blocks away to get it to load. I didnt get in till the second quarter. AR almost got the job done.
Yes, we learned to add to the wallet very early on. Tap works much better than trying to scan, and like you said, if you don't have good service, accessing the barcode ticket can be a pain. Wallet can be accessed quickly and easily whether you have service or not.
I don't know about the scalping part. I understand that everything we do now requires the use of a cell phone. I had a hard time using the apps at first, but I got used to it after using it a couple if times. Off topic. The thing is MLB, NHL, NFL, or concerts have their own app that requires you to download. Each has their own unique process. I feel sorry for my FIL. I can’t transfer my tickets to him when I can't go to a game. He only knows how to call or receive à call from somebody. He doesn’t use it for anything else and refusés to learn the things he can do with his cell phone.
Mlb, nhl, and nfl all use the ticketmaster platform. You don’t have to download individual apps, but the individual apps may provide venue specific features. Your fil would be going by himself? You can’t just give your ticket to someone living in this century that can scan him in?
