is now a flagrant when it's obviously a simple foul with a few seconds left, yet Chins had his entire jersey RIPPED during the first game and didn't even get a call..
And Condon hacked across the arm without a call that would have given us a chance to tie. Instead, next play Chinny gets called for the flagrant and we are down 4. Brutal.
It was an overly tightly called game, I wouldn’t say it was bad enough that our guys couldn’t overcome it but probably the worst 3 or 4 calls were against us and also the foul trouble hit us worse. That being said, we lose much moreso because of 19 turnovers and 3 total assists by the starting backcourt duo. Fland did have a solid 1st half but not much in 2nd half.
I know that we cannot play "Three Blind Mice" as a pep band after a bad call but maybe a medley of a Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Jose Feliciano songs instead?
Would Golden agree? "I told our guys, to win in a place like Cameron, you've got to outplay Duke by 10 points because you're not going to get any 50-50 calls." - T. Golden after the loss to Duke.
You're talking about a different game than referred to in the original post. The officiating sucked last night, and I thought that more blown calls went against the Gators, especially the no call on the goaltending. I don't know if that determined the outcome of the game.
