Loser changes his Avatar to an FSU logo for a month?

Definition of Trump’s huge win: winning popular vote by 4 points and electoral by 100 is huge. I’ll take that bet. Don’t think Trump has that in him.

I'd take the bet if we lower Trump's electoral college margin of victory requirement to 94 EV or greater and leave out the popular vote.

Yes, but are Democrats going to go to the polls on Election Day? We know Republicans are generally less concerned about Covid and more enthusiastic about Trump than Dems are about Biden.

yeah who knows, that’s why I said it would be crazy.
On the one hand, getting people to mail in ballots means they are done and dusted, those votes are in. On the other hand, the process to get those ballots is more onerous than simply driving down to your local elementary school to vote. There is also the question of whether distancing requirements and other Election Day problems (finding enough poll volunteers for instance, since they skew oldrr) will have the effect of suppressing votes, and Then how many people will mess up their mail in ballots.
    Again, crazy days coming.

Republicans have quietly been pushing absentee ballots too (they've just muddied the waters on opposing sending people ballots who didn't request them). I don't think they are quite content with the "our voters will risk death to vote in person" approach, particularly with their best age demographic being super old.

I received my invite from trump last week pushing mail in voting. It was just laying in the junk mail pile and my wife was like "What the hell". Was going to post a pic but she recycled immediately.

Posted this link around five times before. In essence the data suggests that enthusiasm to vote against a candidate may be an even more important factor than enthusiasm for a candidate.

He needs to have lost already on election night. If not, he will declare victory and call all late mail ballots Chinese fakes. Barr will back him on this.

There would be a popular rebellion if this happened.

Polls seem to have Biden ahead by a hair in NC which simply means NC is competitive for the Dems.

If I had to bet my money would still be a Trump to carry North Carolina but it's another state tha th he won in 2016 that he cannot take granted. My guess is that between now and the election Trump will spend more time on the road campaigning than in DC.

    .

Agree. Pubs will also have more open precincts and working voting machines per precinct than Dems... at least in Pub run states.
