That part is true. Their secondary is decimated with injuries. I think they have only one original starter not out for the season (though not sure if any are back by bowl time). Trask & Co. should have a field day!

My reasoning is that you just don't beat an SEC team as a "yearly tradition"

Love back at ya but remember... A lot of time between now and December 30th for players to talk..

In the interest of truth and accuracy this is the expression of but one UVA fan. Attaching this opinion to the entire UVA fanbase would constitute fake news.

Keep in mind that the bowl determinations were just set almost 24 hours ago... There will be those that come in and run smack....

By and large, I will admit that they do seem like sensible and classy posters.

    It's banter.. It's college football.

Capital One Orange Bowl: Florida vs. Virginia

    [IMG][IMG]

(8 p.m. on ESPN at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida)

Virginia had a breakthrough season, winning its first ACC Coastal Division title and reaching the Orange Bowl for the first time. But Florida is significantly more talented. A ferocious Gators defense makes life difficult for Virginia quarterback Bryce Perkins, while Kyle Trask and his wide receivers connect for four touchdowns. Dan Mullen's team records its second straight New Year's Six bowl victory.

    Prediction: Florida 37, Virginia 16

If you're a UVA fan, you definitely don't want to think about how your 69th-ranked passing defense will fare against the #17 passing offense. They just got shredded by the #20 passing offense (Clemson, who doesn't throw the ball nearly as much as we do, given they're #10 in rushing offense), so that's a bad sign.

ACC is the home team every year (excluding CFP years).

I have to say I don't see any of these so called slights either. All pretty harmless.

The Military Bowl is played at NMCMS in Annapolis. I had season tickets for a number of years. It really is a nice stadium with a decidedly family atmosphere.

Honestly, I don't remember If I or any of my friends ever left at halftime. We always had a hell of a buzz on when we got to the game and we snuck stuff in to help keep us that way!!!

When I started going to lots of home games in 95 we would leave and cross University, the Purple P or the Swamp were loaded. It was a good boost to get ya through to the second half.

Never wanted to try to sneak stuff in and get blocked from the game.

I dunno, just roll with it. We need to have some fun. :) Some of them were talking crap though. I think it was one posters redic logic about the Miami thing and a couple other but yeah, of course they feel good. We would too. We do.

We won't need to. Interested recruits from south Florida will be there. That's one advantage of UF playing in the Orange Bowl while our in-state rivals have to play in Shreveport and southwestern end of the earth. We play in front of top recruits, while Miami and F$U play in front of farmers and ranchers (as well as empty seats, which they are both used to).
