I love Fabian coming back. One question though. There were whispers from players stating there were others in the clubhouse that were causing culture issues in the locker room. This was around the time that Fabian misplayed/under efforted a ball in centerfield. It felt directed at him, but no one knows. Do we have any insight on this? Is he returning to Florida because he loves it here with a money play or is this 100% money? The fact his brother is coming in would seem to be a big deal, but we needs better chemistry in that dugout this year.
Welcome back Jud the Stud!!
from another one of the signee's, it's all about the money for Jud, wanted to sign with the Sox, makes sense to come back to rebuild profile and that Sully has some work to do about the chemistry
I know Wil Dalton said Fabian is a great guy who worked harder than anyone he's ever played with.
I’m glad he’s back. Rarely get a dude who hit 20+ homers to come back.
Nevermind that he is also one of the best CF's in college baseball.
That’s huge. Don’t see his kind of power often. What a day he had vs Leiter.
Heard Sully say when Jud arrived "He is our center fielder whether he hits or not'
Clearly coming back so he can be drafted by the Rays next year.
At least in the running I guess in SEC.

pretty even career #s.
and Howell >>>>>>>>> defensively, and also undrafted. crazy
Pretty surprising to me. I thought MLB teams worked out these things or at least had a good idea of the $$$ required before they drafted a player. Sounds like the Sox played poker and lost. Total waste of a pick by Boston.
Hopefully, the young man works hard, puts up big #s and is a first round pick next year.
I really hope that he doesn't try to hit a lot of dingers next year but instead hits line drives into gaps or down the lines.
He has already shown that he can hit for power this past season.
You already know this—if he approaches hitting as you described at the top of your post—the long ball will show up—plenty of “pop” in his bat.
Hopefully/assuming he has a NIL deal lined up.
Speaking of,, not an issue in baseball, but made me wonder. does signing with agent still make you ineligible?? If so why? just do a commercial for the agency, I see no difference.
Rocker didnt sign either I see. But doesnt sound like can return,,ok maybe the NIL/agent question is a baseball issue... I assume Jud didnt have agent?? no idea.
Rocker's agent, Scott Boras, said in a statement that his client is healthy.
"Kumar Rocker is healthy according to independent medical review by multiple prominent baseball orthopedic surgeons. Immediately upon conclusion of his collegiate season, he had an MRI on both his shoulder and his elbow. When compared with his 2018 MRIs, the medical experts found no significant change. Kumar requires no medical attention and will continue to pitch in the regular course as he prepares to begin his professional career," he said.
Not sure what the 'regular course' is, but doesnt sound like the plastic in Nashville
You see that game tonight? Can’t believe we just swept them.
He adds 20 points to that average and he’ll make a lot of money next year. Dingers are going to come no matter what.
Agree, and to think they are such a great organization. Shoot, to hear some you’d think Jud would have played for less for the Sox.
Odd to me the way the red Sox handled everything but great for UF!
