TG will be the appetizer. Just in time for the extra super mega hela spreader event 5000 known as the main course: Christmas.

NYE will act as a dessert for those youngins left with an appetite for ignorance.

I sure hope none of this is true. Otherwise January will be kinda sad.

 

Oh my. Sorry to hear this, g8trgr8t. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much that can be done wrt to any criminal pursuit. Maybe civil. Either way, burns me that people are so careless. Unfortunately twenty-somethings often feel they are invincible and many don't stop to consider deeply just what a problem it is. We've seen this too many times before already.

 

In other words, someone who pays to share such a foolish thought with others.

7 of 11 customers NO MASK. All men 40-55. Two late 20’s cashiers, one masked the other with her nose out. It’s a mess in western NC. Country folk don’t give a crap.

Here in my neck, its far and away the elderly whites and hispanic (mostly non english speaking) population that never seem to wear masks.

 

No symptoms yet. Rapid test tomorrow morning and if clear driving down. Hopefully 5 days is enough time for rapid test rate of false negative to be near zero. Will get pcr test Wednesday pm that should be definitive so will do outdoor meal and all of us will mask inside around her until PCR testvresults come back Friday.

OT - we now have 5 employees who have tested positive in last week and multiple other who are off or remote due to contact to those infected. Going to be a drain on 4th quarter revenue

I put a longer note on this on the Thanksgiving thread, but all nine people planning to go to our get together got tested. Three positives, six negatives.
The three positives all live in different areas. Two in Florida, one in NY. Two have no symptoms, the third had mild congestion.
