That's a whole bunch of stupid in that clip. It is alarming how deranged he is about anything that may shine a bad light on him. God forbid he act like a leader, realize crap happens and deal with it like an adult.

Yes, those Cali cases are VERY likely a direct result of incompetence coming out of HHS.

However, the people in Oregon and Washington State may not be related. Cat’s basically out of the bag once it hit Europe and the U.S due to network effect, there’s probably thousands of cases now.

The cases in Mexico and Ecuador can be directly connected to Europe.

Three new coronavirus cases in UK as South Korea tells public to stay indoors - follow live

Health officials are trying to find out how a man in England who had not been abroad recently caught coronavirus as fears of a global pandemic continue to spread.

A man from Surrey has tested positive for the virus, despite not having left the country, and officials are working to trace people who may have been in contact with him.

The hunt comes as the UK government is expected to publish emergency legislation next week to control the spread of the outbreak.

In response to a question from the press about 20 minutes ago Trump tried to rationalize his performance and the use of the term "hoax" on the basis that he was responding to a Democratic attempt to politicize the Administration's handling of the coronavirus crisis. Personally, I don't think his rationale will fly at all. The real explanation is that he acted on impulse without thinking and tried to use a standard punchline that played well with his audience for years and ended up applying it to an inappropriate situation. By the way I stand by my prediction that the video with Trump's reference to the coronavirus crisis as a hoax will end up in a television commercial either for the Democratic presidential candidate or possibly from the DNC or a Democrat superpac.

Mr. Trump better not cough during one of these press conferences. "Trump Mocks Coronavirus patients" would be the instant headline.

That's the MO of crooked RE developers do, it is an instinctive reaction for them. It's practically embedded in their brains. Saved to the hard drive and backed up in the cloud as it were. And as long as enough people refuse to see it and slurp it up like maple syrup they stick with what works. But what would I know Sargeant??

And it should if he intentionally mocks a coronavirus patient although even Trump is smart enough to realize that wouldn't play well.

actually in some ways it’s the easiest place in the world to stem it, because an authoritarian regime can close cities, highways etc.

Can you imagine if the US government tried to quarantine cities the way China has been?

President Trump described the patient as a “wonderful woman” and a “medically high-risk patient” in her late 50s, at the news conference. Jeffrey Duchin, chief health officer for Seattle and King County, later clarified that the patient was a man in his 50s with underlying conditions.

Hasn’t happened, but everyone might be shocked at the codified emergency powers the US Government has in the public health area. Way beyond even counterfeiting, which is the crime for which suspected perpetrators have almost none of the safeguards other suspects do. But I digress. The public health emergency powers are beyond anything

Perhaps this will be Mr. Trump's opportunity to consolidate his power and remove his political rivals.
