Like his number one client, the Donald, Limbaugh knows all that there is about everything including medicine in general and epidemiology and virology specifically.

Honestly, I can't disagree with Limbaugh here. We get at least 12,000 deaths every year from the flu in this country alone. Even in China, where it started and where they are overcrowded with over a billion people, they've significantly slowed the spread of the virus down. Limbaugh is absolutely right that the media is driving the paranoia here and the Dems are no doubt using it as a political chip. We've had 1 death.

Honestly, like the potus, his cult doesn't believe science. Limbaugh ain't skeered of no "cold virus" be it SARS or MER, or COVID19. He says the survival rate is 98+%, which is news to the WHO that has yet to determine it. BTW 12K deaths from flu and nearly 40% of adults had flu shots. No vaccine yet for COVID19 but what could possibly go wrong.

Yes and it's clear from your post that you are more than well-qualified enough to scold the POTUS on science. We've already seen what could go wrong in China. They still likely won't reach our threshold for deaths from the flu in the mildest of years and they have more people to pass it around. But sure, the end is nigh, lol.

Pretty sure I remember a bad late 70s or early 80s movie where a man-made plague wiped out the world’s population except for the research centers in Antarctica.

Found it: Virus (1980 film) - Wikipedia

Personally, I do not know whether he is well-qualified or not. What I do know is that Donald Trump is the most scientifically illiterate person to hold the office of POTUS in my lifetime and that he has virtually no interest in educating himself on scientific issues and that he willingly perpetuates narratives that have little or no basis in fact or scientific theory if he believes that they will benefit him politically.

You really have no clue as to who has briefed the POTUS and what he knows. You're just regurgitating the same thing you've posted 5,000 times already. And if there's a good chance this is being blown out of proportion, the POTUS has every right and I would expect him to set the record straight. There is nothing wrong at all with a leader expressing confidence in a certain situation if said confidence is not misplaced. Fact is, on this issue, there's a very good chance Trump and Limbaugh will be vindicated. These viruses have a history of mutating themselves into extinction and more people will die from auto accidents today in the U.S. than have been infected so far. But yeah, the POTUS should go out there and make everybody even more nervous and tell us we're doomed, when all the facts indicate it's being way overblown.

Trump is praying that you are right.

Trump spent the past 2 years slashing the government agencies responsible for handling the coronavirus outbreak

Nothing to worry about now. Trump is using a Sharpie to direct all Corona virus into Adam Schiff's district.

No I have no clue as to who briefed Trump and maybe what he is disseminating is completely accurate. On the other hand he has long record of lies and distortions and is undoubtedly the least credible person to ever hold the office of POTUS and possibly the least credible politician in US history. Remember this was the same presidential candidate who made the promise four years ago that he would release his tax returns and is still denying that Russia interfered in the 2016 election on his behalf despite findings to the contrary. He also pushed a phony "university" to personally enrich himself so color me skeptical. And while the mortality rate of COVID19 strain of the coronavirus may end up being similar to that of the seasonal flu it's still a communicable disease that should not be trivialized.
