Infections now down 40% since their early September peak.

I fully believe the new employer mandates are having an effect. Despite all the dumb stories you see about people leaving their jobs, less than 1% of the staffs at these places are not complying.

I have linked two different studies previously that touch on this topic but:

Infection followed by two doses does of mRNA vaccies does something beyond just create a high level of neutralizing antibodies. The neutralizing antibodies "evolve" much faster than those of either vaccine alone or infection alone. So much so, that serum from patients who had infection followed by 2 doses of mRNA vaccines have had their blood used to neutralize SARS-CoV and had some affect on other viruses in a lab setting as well, a so-called "super immunity" develops.

New research indicates severity of Covid symptoms correlates to the amount of virus dose the recipient received.

Is the correlation to the amount of the Covid vaccine given (i.e. differences between Moderna and Pfizer dose) or the amount of initial exposure to an infected individual?

From the CDC website, new hospitalizations for the state of FLORIDA were at 265 on 10/9. For context, the lowest recorded going back to August 2020 was 206 on 6/21/21.

Protect our police from the number 1 killer of police officers in America - Covid.
Data Shows COVID-19 as Leading Cause of Death in Law Enforcement This Year
Further, since the police have to interact with citizens, including the elderly and the unwell, let's just agree that those lives matter too! Vaccination saves lives.

Still have not figured out what is so controversial about limiting behavior that prohibits one from behaving in ways that may kill others? We do it all the time from speed limits to making folks go thru metal detectors. If you would rather risk somebody else's life, then do not participate (ie, fly, keep your job).

Yeah, by far the biggest killer of police last year. Seems it's still holding true this year too. What gets me is the resistance to protecting themselves with vaccinations. Not all that different than resisting wearing a kevlar vest when on street patrol. Makes no sense.

Its killed a bunch of prison guards too. I have to say so far this disease has done more to combat the carceral state than the government has.

I got a "come on man" emoji, which forces questions:
    - Does this person not care about the number 1 killer of police officers in our country? I do not believe that.
    - If this person DOES care about the number 1 killer of police officers, what is the "come on man" for? It cannot be challenging the factual cause of death or that vaccinations would virtually eliminate those deaths as both are simply lies.

That only leaves one choice: that person cares about the number one cop killer, but cares more about something else. Facts: 140 officers were killed by covid in 2020 (see article). About 40 officers were killed by gunfire. Exactly 0 officers were killed in the black lives matter protests. Fact check: Death of six police officers did not occur during recent protests

So people say "Blue lives matter." But do the actual lives of the cops matter or are their lives being cited, used for political purposes? That answer is clear if you believe blue lives do matter.

    Alternate title:

“Country’s most prolific cop killer identified”

I would not have guessed it was Covid

The drop in infections and even hospitalizations in FL has been dramatic. Let's hope it sticks and hope it is a sign of whats to come elsewhere.
