Do we still have an indoor track facility at UF?

They should be proud. Any school that can maintain championship relevance across multiple sports as UF has done elevates the school on a national stage with respect to exposure. Better athletes, better acedemics, better future. Go Gators!

NO! it was lost during the O'Dome re-build.
I wish they would build a stand-alone indoor track though we don't need it for practice.

So, how do we compete in Indoor Track if we don't have an indoor track? Despite my ignorance on this topic, I add my congrats to the team!

    My speculation:

You can practice all the track events outdoors. The only thing you are missing is the feel of the surface.

All the field events would be the same.

Being outdoors also subjects you to conditions you won't face in the perfect conditions indoors. So that could be an advantage as well.

It also means you are always on the road and facing "hostile" crowds--which makes it easier at the big meets!
