This award lost all meaning years ago. I’m good with Smith winning, but there is no way Lawrence was worthy of #2. That’s Eric Crouch level bad.
ESPN picked him 3 weeks ago when all the announcers led by Howard became shrills for Smith to win. Trask is a legend here with or without a trophy
The heisman voters are a joke. Trask was the best qb in the country this year. His numbers proved it. Just more media bias.
They got it right this year.....DS was probably the best player in college football this season. Period.
He wasnt even the best receiver on his own damn team....Waddle would have had better numbers if he hadnt got hurt and Smith would have been a second banana not even in the Belitnikoff conversation let alone Heisman. Trasks numbers were insane and 40 more seconds would have won him the award. This voting is a joke.

It’s a prom queen vote. I really don’t believe the winner is wrong. Votes are always influenced by the eyes of the beholder.
The Father, Son and the holy ghost. They caught the last train for the coast. The day the music died.
I really don’t understand how you can vote Trevor Lawrence in the top 3 this year. This year should have been a 3 man race between the 2 Alabama guys and Trask.
Well, he had a great year, no doubt. But the reality is his second half of the season was not nearly as good as the first. Not having Pitts in the LSU game also made a difference, IMHO.
Why are y’all arguing about who should be number 2. Coming in second means you were the first to lose.
His numbers were better, with the exception of passing percentage, than Jones, even without being behind an NFL line. Lawrence is probably a better QB, but, he didn't get the playing time or numbers due to COVID this year. No doubt LSU did not help, but, that was his only real questionable game before the vote. He threw for over 400 yards against Alabama and kept us within six points without the aid of a defense (no one else lost by less than 15 to them). OU was a nightmare for him, but, that was after the vote. He should have come in 2nd. Can't say he was robbed though, because second doesn't get you a trophy.
Trask did not have a bad year. He had a good year. I understand why he didn't win though. It's not that hard to see why. After getting down 0-14 against Georgia, he played lights out the rest of the game. We even left points on the field to be honest. If the voted after that game, he wins hands down. That LSU loss though, with the pick-6 and the fumble, that is what really cost him. He played good, but not great after the Georgia win, but it was the 10 points he gave up with LSU that had voters looking elsewhere.
