My oldest granddaughter was telling me about that earlier this evening at dinner. Said he got one heck of an ovation when his name was announced.

Interestingly and unsurprisingly, Communications today, 2nd perhaps only to Psychology, is the most popular major for most young students.

Also unsurprising that so many former Gator Basketball players chose this Discipline.

We Geezers well recall how this was not very popular in the 1960s, largely because the Microchip wasn't created until about 1960, and wasn't really widely available until the early-to-mid 1970s (that's when calculators replaced slide rules in Engineering Colleges), by 1975, you almost couldn't find slide rules at College Bookstores. Not quite as rare as an Abacus, but historic by then.
