It’s shocking how high Martin can jump on his ferocious dunks! I think his two jams against AU and another one against TT or UH were a catalyst to our comebacks in those games. The second one against AU was just devastating! It was an elite athlete making a huge statement play at the perfect time in the game. What a great Gator!
He went for it on 4th and 9 on his own 20 AGAINST SPURRIER IN THE SWAMP! The trauma lowered his IQ 40 points to 50.
Agree, and we have to be mindful of what is coached; for example, force the bruisers to go to their bad side. Not sure we beat AU if we hadn’t forced Broome to go to his right in 2nd half. I think coach lambasted our guys for not doing what they were told at half. I’m thinking the two TT bigs went to their right every time, and we allowed them to. We should be a great rebounding team, maybe better than this past season.
Yeah, Haugh forced one of the TT guys left on one play and easily blocked the shot. Following the game plan works.
To be fair, we are replacing all three of our senior guards, including perhaps the best Gator bball of all time. I am not as up on other teams, but I know Houston is returning a ton and has a top recruiting class in coming. St John’s and Purdue also have a lot of hype, though I am not sure of the details of their situations. But yes, we have a lot of potential right now. If it gels, we should compete for another 1 seed indeed.
He stated in an interview today that he wanted to run for the office years ago but was persuaded not to. Tuberville also said being the Alabama governor would suit him better as a lifelong teacher and a coach.
I once saw an interview with the Screaming Trees, a 90s rock band that included a couple large dudes. One of the band members says, “There are a ton of bands out there, but we are a ton of band.”
