2016: Asked to comment on a possible relationship between Trump and Russia, Manafort said, "We have no relationship. This is an absurd attempt by the Clinton campaign to try to get the focus off of what the real issue is."

Remarkable that nobody on the right has condemned this disclosure and we have. It heard one word out of Mr. Witch Hunt even suggesting that this is not a witch hunt and he may have been betrayed. By now, too, the change in the GOP platform on Ukraine is coming more into focus. Because Manafort and Gates never stopped serving their masters inUkraine and Russia while they ran the campaign and were the deputy chair. Meanwhile, the right has retreated to their cones of silence

Is there anything stating exactly what transpired at these meetings?

I read the article and it only had Manafort's side that they only discussed Ukrainian policy.

This isn't the "bombshell" that it is being made out to be.

    I'll wait for more information.

Yes. There is. Because Gates told Mueller. The Campaign chair and deputy camapign chair of a presidential campaign should not meeting with someone they know to be a Russian spy and discussing “Ukraine policy” with that spy when they had worked for the Russian backed former Ukraine politicians there that were kicked out of office. There was nothing neutral about their discussions because Manafort had no source of income other than whatever he made from his Ukrainian relationships. Which is why they investigated and charged the money first. All of this is why Manafort joined the camapign for free. These were his masters. The Trump campaign dropped the lethal aid for Ukraine from the GOP platform and later came the Neville Chamberlin proposal to cede Crimea and Eastern Ukraine to Russia and give sanctions relief. All in line with the interests of the Kremlin. Which means that the Russians needed Trump to win. Meanwhile, Manafort lied about it and continued working with Kiliminick after he was indicted. Manafort is a traitor. This is very ugly. Mueller wanted the truth about this and Manafort played him and lied. I would have expected the “witch hunt” screaming to die, but Trump repeated it this week. Investigating Manafort is not a witch hunt.

Except for that whole thing about Manafort being on their payroll. I guess that's why Trump campaign never paid Manafort a salary, they both already had the same boss.

This is why Guiliani stopped saying "there was no collusion" a month or so ago, and started saying he doesn't know what people other people were up to ... but Trump definitely wasn't involved. Yeah ... right. When one lie is about to get exposed, pivot to the next lie. Trump fans will believe anything...

And why is everyone lying about the meetings in the first place? If was it was just Manafort doing his own thing, why lie to investigators? It seems like a dozen or so of Trump's employees, family, and friends have been lying to investigators, which looks to me like a pattern with one purpose ... to shield Trump from exposing his direct involvement with the Russians.

Said from the beginning of this that the Russians were making multiple attempts to penetrate this camapign. Papadapolous, Page, Flynn, the meeting at Trump Tower. Getting Manafort inside was a major accomplishment.

There's no reason for him to talk about the investigation anymore, nothing new. But you keep dreaming

You realize that they just arrested a long-term Trump friend and early staffer, right?

Hey.....there's nothing to see here......it's okay if you're a Republican!

It's amazing that for eight years the GOP frauds were trying to find something......anything.....they could use to destroy Obama or Clinton......and I mean anything. Now.....they find that something.....anything.....Trump and his cronies do is fine.....even stuff much more serious than the spurious charges they tried to make against Obama and Clinton.

Oh.....and immorality is fine now for the religious right......even laudable......if the immorality refers to the acts of a Republican. Bill Clinton's immorality pales in comparison to Trump's.

I wouldn’t take a Viagra just yet duchen.

Weismann saying that someone is not forthcoming is like Joy Behar telling another woman that she is unattractive.

To Weismann, not being forthcoming is the same thing as not telling him what he wants to hear. If Weismann can prove anything, then Manafort derserves prison time. But to have him in solitary confinement is ludicrous

Manfort's lawyers said that Manafort forgot the meeting. And, apparently everything else about his dealings with Kiliminick. Manafort is going to jail. The question is whether Manafort gets credit for cooperating and gets a reduction.

Right. If Hilary Clinton knowingly met with a Russian spy during the campaign and the Russians hacked had hacked and leaked the GOP e-mails, I am sure your "nothing to see here" tone would be the same here.

I am waiting to here all about this from Trump an his minions. Not silence. Truthful statements about whether the investigation is till a "witch hunt" after this new bit of information.

Do you think it is still a "witch hunt," after this apparent bit of "nothing new" information?

Hell Yes, this whole thing is a joke. I truly believe if there was any true info linking Trump to Russia it would have already come.
