I'm going to sticky for a bit. Please put any Coaching changes, rumors, speculation on how the moves will/can effect recruiting, etc here as it looks like we are just getting started.

UF is locked in with just a few spots and more prospects than slots. It could be that UF will only flip one or two from schools having coaching changes. That said, we are beginning to see many de-commitments from schools going through that process.

FSU: The coaches left behind after the Taggert firing did a pretty good job of holding their class together. Many of the recruits seem to be waiting out the process. Then Knighton left and went to the Canes, Green did an OV and Canes feel he will flip also. Griffis de-commited as well as Joseph. I'm sure I missed someone but last I checked fsu was 22 in recruiting with 14 commits. What will happen is conjecture at this point as to which coaches are retained by Norvell could hinder or help this years class. There are also some unsubstantiated rumors that Haggins is contemplating retirement. I honestly doubt that but he has to feel conflicted and maybe a bit butt hurt. If fsu was down to at best their 6th or 7th option, what was Odell?

Norvell: Norvell had 14 commits in his Memphis class and had not had a commit since the summer ( things that make you wonder) Josh Newburg has already made a case for Norvell to bring 10 of those guys with him. Looking at his Memphis class, with 14 commits they sat at 61 NR class with zero guys from the State of Florida. One last thing on Norvell. He tends to turn over staff as they move on so it will be interesting to see who comes with him to Tally.

Ole Miss: Prior to Luke getting fired Ole Miss sat at 23NR and 11 SEC. They are currently 37N and 11SEC. Kiffen is a good recruiter but unless he pulls a miracle this class will not be very good. In addition, his biggest battle this year will be to recruit the current players. Many are supposedly considering the transfer portal. Now, I suspect emotions will subside and many will stay but we shall see.

Arky: Butch Davis is now considered a strong candidate for the job. It doesn't matter who they hire, the program is a mess. Where it should concern UF fans is Butch and Lane will be hitting So Florida hard in future years. The Hogs current class has 6 commits and rank 118 N and 14 SEC.
EDIT: Looks like its Pittman to the Hogs.

More dominoes: Who will take these openings? Most will be assistants from staffs. I don't know of any UF staff being contacted for openings as HC or coordinators but it wouldn't shock me.

Can we get Plumlee to transfer to Florida? Lol... I'm sure he'd make a good slot receiver.

Rumors of David Shaw to the NFL. Could rule out Stanford for EJ Smith. Maybe an impact on Myles Hinton?

If Shaw left Stanford, they may go after Vandy football coach with ties to Stanford or some of other former Coordinators that have Stanford ties.

Mullen has given recruits every reason to stay in state. I am glad there is not a team from georgia or alabama in the playoff.

Looks like Briles to Ole Miss with Kitten. Also a Charlie Strong rumor to Ole Miss but I'm not buying it yet.
So fsu will be installing another offense again.

I'm also reading the Haggins retirement rumors are false. That may be true, we shall see. I wonder if he would take a job like FAU.

Would Pittman leaving Georgia help us? I know he is highly respected. Just don't know how much recruiting damage he has done to us in head to head competitions for OL prospects

Knowing Kirby, he might come after Hevesy.

He was the Arkansas recruiting coordinator before hired by GA. Would help as all the OL go to UGA due to the relationship with him. At minimum, it will make UGA have more difficulty in recruiting OL in the future competing with Sam

UGA beat out UF for Braun. This could help more so, down the road.

He could also take a position coach or two with him that could help us in other areas.

Appalachian St. Head Coach and former N.C. State OC Eli Drinkwitz maybe the front runner for the Missouri job. App State was 12-1 this year.
