Nembhard, while not a fast PG, seems like he has the court vision that would be good in transition, and there are fast guys on this team to run in transition. Problem is this team literally REJECTS playing fast. What are our “transition offense”/fast break stats? Based on eyeball test, probably somewhere in the 300’s just like our overall ratings. Is there anyone that thinks this is a coincidence? We decline easy basket opportunities, then slow it down and run a broken and inefficient half court game. Insanity.

I'll admit that I'm beginning to feel surprise and disappointment in this staff and team. I was certain coach White would have them playing better by now. This is so deflating as a fan of CMW and this roster of talent. This just sucks. I just want to close the curtains so I don't have to watch this wreck anymore and I feel like shitty fan for it.

Providence and Utah State (never thought I’d say that) are now must wins heading into conference play.

Fyi this is also on White. This is 100% his team he recruited for his system. We are in year 5 and he has the audacity to say we need better culture. Year 5! It's ridiculous. No matter who the players are, we have a culture issue. The 1 constant is White, pretty clear he's the culture issue if we're being honest. He also said this was our best O performance of the year. That alone is a vomit worthy comment.

I really don't want to see another major hire fail in mens athletics.
    Lets hope for a turnaround.

Whatever happens with the coach isnt up to me but I believe he is already leaving. Remember Donovan's last 2 yeasrs? This look familiar? The team isnt focused because there is no focus and I remember the same frustration with the team play back then too. I think CMW realizes what some on here realize and that is he is peaked as a coach.

I am afraid you may be right. Feel bad for Blackshear but it is what it is.

It’s a year long process. I think there still is hope for a lot more improvement and ending up at least number three in SEC.

Players not buying in isn't the players fault. Not saying that's happening, but damn. Injuries are one thing, but lack of leadership and buy-in are on the coach.

Correct. And to be talking about your culture being bad after the game here in year 5 is a damning indictment against White. He's the 1 single constant in the last 5 years of pretty consistent culture struggles.

No Stricklin did not hire White however our AD is firmly behind Coach White. But assistant coaches are a different matter. Some of them are ready to move on and if the season becomes a major disappointment they may have no choice but to leave.

Did CMW mention a culture problem in the postgame press conference or in a recent interview?

Keyantae is just in a bit of an enigma.
    Blackshear is a major disappointment.
Andrew plays unemotional and lacks leadership as the PG.
Lewis is lost on the O side of things.
T Mann has a fire but is still young and has not caught up to the D1 game.
Glover is our best player right now.
Noah, tends to hide way too much when he dosen't want to shoot the ball.
The rest of this team is not ready for D1 ball now or just not a part of this team right now.

Pick up the pace and start smaller Glover,Andrew,Noah,Blackshear, and Tre. Lewis is not ready to offensively get it done right now.

That’s a great question and maybe the answer is to hire a firm that does that sort of thing to come up with a list of the best candidates. I’m pretty sure there are some good candidates out there that would be able to put a well coached team on the floor and do the job. Mike Miller might be a consideration. Played here, is well known and would be able to recruit at a high level, played in the NBA forever, knows the game thoroughly, would be popular with young players. Currently on the staff of Penny Hardaway at Memphis.
